There's a moment in Black Panther where Michael B Jordan's character steals an African mask from a museum. When the other character with him asks why, he says "I'm just feelin' it." The mask he grabbed was VERY cool, and I kind of wanted one, too. But, short of stealing things out of museums, I guess I'll have to draw them. Abilities: She wields a staff that consumes souls of the living. She uses those souls to feed her power.
Extra (for now): The globe on her staff is an ancient artifact in which she had to prove her will and strength to achieve it. The artifact draws out the souls of her victims. But before it does, it puts them in a trance like state to keep them immobilized.

After 1.5 hrs of experimenting...
It wasn't easy to decide on what body shape my character should have. Through an "intuitive approach" of shifting anatomical proportions, it was still decided to remain on an avian's concept instead of a wyvern's. Wyvern can be kept to the wyvern... The phoenix needs something more like an bird's, after all.
p.s: I also have to remember to keep the neck shorter...
