When I was a child, whenever I was alone or lonely, I would fantasize about having super powers and being able to fly out into the universe and do anything. In my own world, I will always be the protagonist in my own story, guarding the lights of thousands of homes, world peace.
I finished it. I thought of this while listening to “Shadows of Mouldwood” from the “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” soundtrack. It’s a protector. Not the good kind. Don’t tell him about the kids that bully you, or the teacher that made you stay after school, or how your father beat you with his belt. When he asks you what you need, just tell him, very politely, you don’t need any help, and make sure you do it convincingly. Because he really wants to help.
So, I used to do this a lot when I was growing up, like I am sure most of you do. I also do it to get inspiration should I ever need to start work with no prompt or to get limbered up to draw. There are three family younglings that visited me a while ago and they all gave me a different scribble line to start with and then I would draw what I imagine.

It was International Friendship Day yesterday, so I made a little something. Pokémon is a huge part of my childhood, and I'd like to draw something for it. Sometimes, on the pathway to success, we will meet obstacles. Before we can reach our destination, we often have an ocean of things to overcome. We'd have walls to break down, oceans we have to swim over. This illustration is to remind everyone that no matter what obstacles we will meet, never lose heart and faith in the things you love.
