Sharpie flowers - spring colors

Quick abstract sketch using pen and sharpies.

I love the tradition and the symbol behind a milagro heart. As part of a religious ritual or an act of devotion, milagros can be offered to a symbol of a saint as a reminder of a petitioner's particular need, or in gratitude for a prayer answered.

The Super Bloom is still going in SoCal! On the trail are poppies, daisies, alyssum and now the mustard grass is in bloom. My process was an iPhone photo, then a drawing with color and then collage in Photoshop.

Like painting by Barrie J Davies 2019, paint on A4 Khadi White Cotton Paper unframed, with deckled raw edges.

I showed this in black and white first and have the color version finished now.
