I participated in an art swap challenge at Sktchy where I had to draw someone randomly assigned to me in a "space" theme. I'm so pleased with how this one turned out! Pen and watercolour, 6x4". Would love to hear what you think the story

I took an hour or two and drew some owls while watching the 7th Harry Potter movie. Everyone should do life drawing. We all should be forced to look at people different to us as a mandatory part of education.

Quick Watercolour sketch - Moleskin.

Our local antiques store had a huge treasure trove of vintage Native American themed toys and gifts this weekend. I realized that 1) I'd owned a lot of them and 2) none of my friends had. It never occurred to me that my collection was particularly large or unique. Doesn't every kid have a fixation on this country's indigenous population? Apparently not. I love the visual language of the Navajo and Hopi especially. My Kachina doll collection was the bomb.

These horses were so much fun to draw. I used a Uni Posca marker with Daniel Smith watercolors. I was going to a craft fair and wanted to try out making stickers with Sticker Mule. It is a super easy process. The sticker is 1 inch in diameter.
