Been working on a drawing of my cat recently so decided to layer in my favourite colour for this prompt… orange.

Family moment

2B and Derwent colour pencil drawing of a Lanternfly. A pretty creature but kill it on sight.

This came out of nowhere. Using coloured pencils, Zig Art and Graphic twins, watercolours, Micron fineliners. Well, everything I had at the time!

Neal rescues the kitten

Once again playing with shapes, colours, marks, and loads of squiggly, smudgy ink lines. No pressure. Just trying to get back into splashing around with paint and seeing what emerges.

Pencil, charcoal and black colour pencil

spring breeze

A little sketch, 3” by 5”, made better with a bit of cheap watercolour paint. I don’t know why, but I like this little scene. It isn’t a terribly brilliant sketch and I didnt paint it with great care, but still, i like it. And in the end, it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. If you finish a little piece of art snd can say you like it even weeks and months later, then it is a winner for you.
