Couple portrait for wedding invitation

My english is bad sorry .. I used only two pencils and it take about 7 hours to be done .. i just want to tell me im good or bad artist ..

Acrylic on canvas. I used my phone to wrote my signature because I I still have a couple details left and a signature was something I didn't add yet, but for the most part, it's finally done

After a couple of years of inactivity i started drawing again, my sweet lady was the victim.

This was a commissioned illustration created for a wedding gift for a couple who are working in turtle conservation.

Been a busy couple of weeks, school holidays are always a bit tricky to find time. I have been working on some illustrations for a software product that my husband and I are building so I can't share those at this stage but I was back at the gallery today sketching with my new drawing group, I spent most of my time with a bunch of Mesoamerican statues. I am starting to not get so freaked out by people watching me draw :)

This couple have been sitting at the same spot for over 30 years they say. Have you ever seen a female cobbler? I hadn't.

Drew inspiration from a couple of other drawings I saw and thoughts to combine them into this.

And we're back to class. It's amazing how a couple of weeks can get you out of shape for gestures. Medium: Vine charcoal on newsprint. Time: 7 x 2 minutes.

Observations from an expedition to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, which features an incredible paleontology hall. I brought with me a pad of sticky notes, a couple Micron plastic nib pens, a set of Copic Markers, my fanny pack, and some headphones. Prehistoric life has been an infatuation of mine since childhood, and there is something very humbling about drawing in the shadows of these fallen giants.

Nero extra soft oil based pencil is a great doodling and sketching tool that I have been using for a couple of years. Not smudgy and delivers good lines.
