A kiss on the hand may be quite continental but diamonds are a girl's best friend

Just a first experiment with the new Sharpie “creative markers” that are similar to acrylic markers

I have a certain energy that runs through me, almost like a current. Balancing this energy can be quite a challenge, but I have found that meditation helps me to find my center. I like to quiet the noise around me and focus on my inner truth. Sometimes, I begin my meditation with my eyes closed, allowing my emotions to guide me in sketching out my experiences. This helps me to open up my channels of creativity, which I am currently using to work on my upcoming novel. I can't reveal too much about it yet, but I hope you will enjoy the sneak peeks I'll be sharing as I work toward completion.

Happy Earth Day! Today we should reflect on at least one thing we love about our planet. Is it your favorite place in nature to visit? Your favorite animal? A favorite memory from childhood? Now the next step to ask yourself is what part am I playing to preserve our earth? All it takes is one action from you to make a difference. Collectively we will make a difference.

Hi I'm back! I took this as an opportunity to practice using values alongside lighting.

Inspired by the Irworobong design (korean palace folding screen) during my Korea trip. Since I made the trip in spring, with flowers abundant, I thought to use the five mountain peaks as five petals to form a flower.

I needed something relaxing to create.

This is a simple watercolor and pen drawing of a witch hazel tree in winter bloom with an owl perched on top. I love the witch hazel shrub and am thinking of creating a picture book showcasing the plant throughout the seasons.

The solar eclipse was incredible for me on many levels ~ In deep mediation the movement of the solar eclipse inspired me, grounded me and offered an intense level of focus and internal balance of the feminine and masculine within us all ~ Parts of this ongoing collage has been done with the left hand. Grounding and clearing tools I like to use: Florida water, Sage ash, Palo ash (all ethically sourced and pure)

Caged is a collection of healing through deep inner journey work. Note: this is part of the process included while writing the final draft of my upcoming novel.

I take pride in experimenting with different photo exposures to bring out new dimensions in my creations. My work never feels complete, as there's always more room for exploration. "BUTTCHEEKS" The top bookmark is the genuine "Skav Art" piece which was done with a 0.18 technical pen on 110mm x 30mm off-cut card. The one below (the "bottom" one - Heheh!) was a deliberate copy I made of the first and, even though it looks neater, proved to me that those dreaded "processes" do start to creep in. The differences are slight, but they are there. Such processes can mount the further you go with them, until they totally erode the creative energy you originally had. So, it was good to do, even if it does mean I've now got two artworks with the same title!

Thought the best first post would be my character, Buri! She is a master starship technician, and pretty handy with fixing everything besides the bridge computers. In addition, she's the galley cook and one of two planetside survival experts on the ship. Bad news is, she sinks like a rock and is possibly the least amiable person out of the whole crew.

A new logo...I have created.

Learn how to draw a 2D tesseract projection. A tesseract is a 4D hypercube and you can easily draw its 2D projection. Here are 2 methods of drawing it. The left side of the page takes 6 steps, whereas the right side only takes 3.

This sketch shall be turned into a print someday. Dip pen and ink in my A5 watercolour sketchbook. The background wash is the result of a palette cleaning.
