I wanted to take snapshots of my day at the beach so I came up with the idea of doing story boards, little snippets of moments. Felt less pressure for perfection and created an atmosphere still.

Franky Fred loves to play basketball, and is the best player in the neighborhood until one day, someone else shows up and takes Franky on! The new kid is better and beats Franky in a one-on-one. Now Franky Fred is mad and demands a rematch.

To be honest, wasn’t too happy with how this turned out but it’s just practice. I know I’ve got to draw like a thousand more noses to really get something decent lol. If you have any tips on how I could get better, let me know!
Took me very long to finally accept the fact that I can do anything, draw anthing on my sketchbook, that my sketchbook is a safe place for me to experiment, play, and explore styles, themes, mediums, and other ideas. I used to be so caught up in developing my own style, and being devoted to drawing only portraits.. Well.. now I’ll remember to “just draw!”
Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. Hello everyone! This is just a sketch, a very quick sketch, but I would like advice on how to draw babies. I understand the face shape is a little different, but if anyone Is willing, I would like some help. I want to do this art work for my moms close friend, of her two kids. I don't usually drink hot coffee unless it is Ice in frappe style lol. This was done using watercolors that I thought somewhat matched the color of coffee. Since the subject was meditation I sort of just let my mind wander and didn't plan anything.
