After part of my house flooded and feeling off all day, I watched Tales of Earthsea again last night and got pretty inspired, love the dragon design!

Only took like 2 hours. Honestly, this is the hardest I have EVER worked on a digital piece. Happy to sharing with us my final plate of Dwarf Jay (Cyanolyca nanus), there are a few illustration for this taxa that is endemic to Mexico. Dwarf jay show patterns of occupancy consistent with habitat specialists. Like raccons, Dwarf Jay have a black mask and is predominantly blue. Technic: hybrid media (graphite, colored pencils and SketchBook Pro).
I seen Mr Phil LaMarr wearing a shirt like this, baseball logo parody, it was Luke Skywalker and a probe droid. So, i made this. I think its funny if a little juvenile. Samurai Jack is AWESOME! that show as my thing back in the day.

I wanted it to look like the chalkboard menus in quirky cafes. I drew the image with a Blackwing pencil, scanned it into Photoshop, inverted, then applied the colors.
