dog

Finally putting up a new drawing. This guy is for the 6th day of inktober (although I lack the pens for inking), so I hope you enjoy.

Ink illustration of borzoi.

Drawing inspired by one of the dogs in the shelter I volunteer in.

Dogs are fun to draw because they have these oh so happy faces. This is a sketch of the office dog Thermos.

Weibe is a lazy bassett hound. Got on a dog drawing kick and was experimenting with a lineless style, which I've come to like.

A page from a book I made about dogs and cats.

Acryclic painting of my late doggo, Zoey. She was a very good girl

The one that guards home.

Acrylic painting modeling two Bernese Mountain dogs.

Collage, ink, and colored pencil. Doggie Diner's were a chain of fast food restaurants in San Francisco and the bay area in the 1960's and 70's.

Emulation of Janet Fish's art style in ink form. Done with rapidograph pens and gouache (flat black).

It's Fang! I decided to choose this piece for today because I was really proud of it. This is "Up 'n Down", enjoy!

A digital art doodle, testing out brushes and workflow in Photoshop CC.

Thought I'd upload a closer look of my pfp lol, basically it's just an odd coloured dog with my favourite colours: pink and brown. With a fallout boy (big fan sksks) earring added to the mix.

A commissioned portrait of a pup

Hey, something that ISN'T a fox! ...Kinda. This is a fox-like canine with wings, not sure what to exactly call their species yet. I'm pretty proud of her design. c:

Get your flashlight out tonight and have some shadow puppet fun

Mixed media art on canvas by YUKA

Pet AT-AT catching a frisbee.

Colored pencil and ink drawing of my dog Maya anticipating a snack.

Another commission....loving doing these.

I'm working on a series of childhood stuffed animals versus child monsters (i.e. the safety of home vs the real world and its bullies). I haven't done the monsters yet, but here are the stuffed animals. I drew them from memory as opposed to referencing what Cheer Bear and Rainbow Brite's dog looked like. I looked after. I didn't get them quite right. That's OK; I think the wonkiness adds to the charm. These are drawn in reverse for a woodcut effect, then scanned and printed and gone over with gouache and watercolor.
