IT'S NOT EASY BEING A MODEL FOR THIS DOODLER

Inktober 2023 Day 6 No prompts. Ballpoint pen.

This was done a year ago, but it's my favorite because it was basically just dumps of random doodle ideas that I had or had seen. It is a cluster of things that I liked at the time such as my favorite drink, food, animal, patterns, instruments, show, plant, seasons, and much more.

Doodle time

In the doodle, the dog’s name is Sirius, which is Latin for “Star Dog”. Sirius is the biggest star in the constellation Canis Major.

This character is well known and has appeared many times in various comics and cartoons. The character I created has a face that contains a lot of sadness and is sometimes very ghostly. Budgie Doodle

This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. trying to break into the cute artstyle cuz it’s so fun to do!

Drawing done on A6 sketch paper 90 g/m2 using Uni pin fineliners, pen ink and green crayon. Started drawing pointy corners and areas to fill later and along the way I got inspired to do something similar to the ring of Green Lantern from DC. A friend of mine said the drawing makes her think of energy and fury.
