I wanted the eyes to look real and the rest of her to be more abstract. Made of shapes, patterns and colors. Inner shapes and forms that we see if we look at a person closely.
Doodling has become an essential part of new beginnings in my life. The blank page is encouraging unplanned art that surprises me and pushes me in new directions. This piece speaks to me of fresh starts and flowing into the future full of change and magical possibilities.
And most of the time, imperfection is the way to see the balance of life. It's where you see and understand the most beautiful lesson that we will carry upto the end of our existence.
The Mexican wolf (Canis lupus baileyi) is a subspecies of gray wolf once native to southeastern Arizona, southern New Mexico, western Texas and northern Mexico. I don't normally paint trees. So I was surprised when my daily doodling produced this loose interpretation of the tree in my garden. I quite like it. Doodles are magical.
