Monthly theme was "GOLD", so I thought about gold as a hedonistic symbol and meaning.
Almost religious. I imagined a society praising hedonism as their religion.
A little sketch, 3” by 5”, made better with a bit of cheap watercolour paint. I don’t know why, but I like this little scene. It isn’t a terribly brilliant sketch and I didnt paint it with great care, but still, i like it. And in the end, it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. If you finish a little piece of art snd can say you like it even weeks and months later, then it is a winner for you.
My head is a place I fall into. I don't mind it...most of the time. But what I produce sometimes might reflect what is happening within. Its a maddening wonderland that I wander around in.
I wanted to do a simple pen sketch, where if I mess up it is permanent. The one drawing type robots can't replace. #DOWN WITH THE ROBOTS, ROBOTS SUCK!!!!#

Although I got too carried away trying to capture the reflections to really capture the effect I was after. Also, even though I try to do a line drawing and ink it, my painterly sensibilities keep coming through. When I get a brush pen, I use it like a brush...
