The Super Bloom is still going in SoCal! On the trail are poppies, daisies, alyssum, pansies and now the mustard grass is in bloom. My process was an iPhone photo, then a drawing with color and then collage in Photoshop.
As you can tell from the title, I didn’t originally intend to have another ray as the main character here but alas… happy accidents, right? Plus I feel it works for no reason other than it just does, so I don’t care too much really ☠️
DOne 2023 Predator . This was commissioned by a customer who bought my Xenomorph art piece that i had posted in Craigslist.com I did not like the crouch plate, his hair,and the belt how it came out it is out of perspective and not drawn well enough. Some LGBTQ+ members of the community can’t openly love who they want to love, so the bars represent that barrier. The fabric, with all its complex folds and creases represents sensuality, desire and love. Love, in all its forms is a complex thing of beauty.-------------
The companion piece to my previous post ‘Ecstasy.’ Agony and Ecstasy were always meant to be a diptych. The issue for me is that there is a two-year gap between the completion of the two - there is a noticeable difference in the the way both were drawn.

Day 7 of inktober2020 and the prompt is Fancy (referring to his hat). I like this pen and ink approach better than most of my earlier inktober drawings. I prefer the teeny tiny scratchings to marker.
