Kings crowning. Made me think of the animated Robin Hood by Disney, where the crown was to big for the head of lion John, but it held on his ears.

The materials that Meir uses in her works are not of the refined and so she is called an “arte povere” artist. At times she describes her work as someone dealing in alchemy - work develops as in a trial laboratory with different techniques and materials. She says, “ at times the artistic work process is a sort of puzzle demanding the filling in of all the empty squares “. Some of her work focuses on women, and they incorporate criticism and cultural protest. Meir has strong opinions about recycling and environmental protection that is represented in her works by use of materials and shapes. In her work she reacts to contemporary art that communicates with the eco system, waste, and she also searches for different worlds. Her works are made up of layers upon colorful layers that when we look at them it becomes clear that the mound of waste she chose is not coincidental. It actually becomes a colorful kaleidoscope of utopia. Jaffa Meir is a multifaceted, autodidact artist working in painting, sculpture, photography, product design, carpets and furniture, painting on textile, and computer graphics. The structural composition of some of the works is influenced also by her many years of working in the architects’ office. Meir also worked in the developing of ideas within the field of ecosystems and recycling for factories such as Coca Cola, and during this process came up with ideas for designing parks and public game spaces using industrial waste products.

Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. This is a sketch of my bearded dragon, Skittles, who I was sitting across from. I'm just starting out with Sketchbook Pro and trying to get the hang of it, but am rather new to it at this point.

So, my daughter is highly obsessed with FNAF Foxy, she requested me to paint her a Foxy, so I think I kind of nailed it. She's in love with it and had to have it on her wall immediately. I'm pretty proud of this painting, because I'm still learning how to paint and such. I do love using Acrylics. This was a lot of fun to do. So many different images of him out there, I just hope I captured his color scheme well. I know my daughter says I did. :3 Also, if she's happy, I'm happy.... now she wants the rest of the FNAF characters to hang on her wall. Imma be a busy mum for sure.

Just started learning to draw eyes. Was wondering if I could get some tips for anime manga style which I could later try to animate with. Plus how are my names and if you can think of better ones pls tell me thx.

As an amateur artist, painting on a canvas and “ruining it” is a fear that grappled me ever since I could first paint. I didn’t believe in myself to accurately represent my emotions and over the years it has stopped me from painting at all. But today ,i break that, i have created a piece for me ,myself and I and on that note, this sixteen year old artist finally begins her journey on doodle addicts!

I guess I don't have a lot of description to go with this one. I like all of the elements in it, though, like the blue hair, the earings, and the t shirt patch. Those are always the most fun parts of a drawing. For me, at least.

Learning digital art

When we look at each other, all we see is their outward appearance. However, we are all much more than that. We are all more than the color of our skin. I am black, but I am also Cuban, American, African American, and Irish. I am more than my skin color.

Ta-da! Finally done! This was inspired by my annual back to school shopping trip in August with my mom, my siblings, and my grandma. The sign is a bit of a clue to that, the heart is similar for he logo of one of my favorite stores (until they closed last month), and the tan thing in the corner reminds me of the dusty playground we stop at between stores. The hair clip, butterflies, and purple corner (it's really a hair extension) are all from my favorite accessory store. The railing is for the walkway between stores and I don't really have to explain the shirt, skirt, pants, and shopping bag. No trip is complete without a bucket of pretzels to eat on the way home! Anyway, I hope you like my art!

It's Monk Kirby! Did you ever wonder what Kirby would look like if he swallowed a monk and copied his power (or joined our Order)? Lol. Well this is how! Now! It's the Final Mystery! The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Each person of the Most Holy Trinity is crowning her and since doves don't have hands, I drew the Holy Spirit in humanoid form. :) The Eternal Father is in green because we often think about how he created all of Creation (as green is like a natury color ya know). Jesus in the Red of the Redemption and the Holy Spirit with the Brilliant White of Sanctification. Our Lady in her blue of Wisdom and Grace having the crown placed on her head. The crown has the Cross and M of mary like on the Miraculous Medal. ^_^ My Rosary pictures are complete! Wooo! :D Our Lady, Queen of the Divine Will, pray for us! Fiat.
