It's weird to think that crowds in places is not allowed and you can actually get a hefty fine. This still rings true in Toronto. Nowadays you see something like this it's illegal. Hence the name of the drawing titled: The Illegals

I adopted the use of a circle one night, wanting to frame out an idea/sketch and a wine glass happened to be close by. Since then I have used it often, loving the circle aspect.
I thought I was finished with all my hand-designed shoes yesterday, and then I received this pair in the mail today (originally blank white) from my grandmother with money and a request to do them to match my “Abstract Moon and Flowers” design that she recently bought as a jacket on RageOn. This began as a study of armour. While researching women’s armour , I was annoyed by how sexualised the images were. The women were all beautiful, sexy and usually scantily clad. This seems so stupid. What good is armour that doesn’t cover your most vulnerable parts? So I set out to draw a more realistic warrior, strong and sturdy, suitably clad for the fight.
Doodles, doodles, doodles. THIS IS NOT MY ORIGINAL DESIGN - I do not know who the original artist is but was inspired by some doodles I had seen on my Instagram feed. I definitely really enjoy these kinds of doodles, so relaxing and not so STRESSFUL as some of my charcoal realistic portraits can be.... might do some more :-)
A Civics class arm doodle, a fitting place for a tattoo design. Today was the wrong day to wear a white long sleeve though. This weekend was interesting...good, bad, and very personal. It's currently 8th period though, and here's to the fact that I get to end my day in art.

Saw this missing cat poster whilse out running errands the other day which started off with the sentence "Answers to Esme", and those words have been circling around in my head ever since. Naturally, the end product here had little to do with the finished artwork!

Shostakovich’s contemporaries do not recall seeing him working, at least not in the traditional sense. The Russian composer was able to conceptualize a new work entirely in his head, and then write it down with extreme rapidity—if uninterrupted, he could average twenty or thirty pages of score a day, making virtually no corrections as he went.
But this feat was apparently preceded by hours or days of mental composition—during which he “appeared to be a man of great inner tensions,” the musicologist Alexei Ikonnikov observed, “with his continually moving, ‘speaking’ hands, which were never at rest.”
Shostakovich himself was afraid that perhaps he worked too fast. “I worry about the lightning speed with which I compose,” he confessed in a letter to a friend. Undoubtedly this is bad. One shouldn’t compose as quickly as I do. Composition is a serious process, and in the words of a ballerina friend of mine, “You can’t keep going at a gallop.” I compose with diabolical speed and can’t stop myself.… It is exhausting, rather unpleasant, and at the end of the day you lack any confidence in the result. But I can’t rid myself of the bad habit.
