I got three paintchip cards from a big paint company in the mail and decides to paint some moths over the holidays. This is the first one, done with acrylic paints, posca pens and karinmarkers.

Lino cut prints. Practice copies. I ended up removing the leaves and making them on a separate piece of lino.

When I moved into my first apartment, I knew I wanted to create my own wall art. So like any Potterhead artist, I binged Harry Potter movies and painted for many hours straight. This painting is part of a three piece set featuring my favorite plants painted on a soft gradient background. This 8”x10” acrylic painting is made on pre-stretched canvas.

This colorful painting was created using gouache paint to give an illustrative design feel. The subject is a cow painted using non-local colors like pink and violet, contrasting the orange sky background. A practice run of a tiny lino cut I've just made. It's about the size of a 2 pence piece. I'm playing around with colours.

This is a graphite pencil drawing of a conch shell I found on the beach in Florida. I used this sketch as a base for a intaglio print I made. The sketch features the cool textures and forms of the shell in a harsh contrasting light.
