Lightness 4: when a levity hurls us away. This serie started with the purpose of paining people literary threw away from small ordinary objects like flowers of balloons. I wanted to depict the strength and the power that trifles have on us. Eventually ithey paintings became more and more “stable”, with just a touch of surrealism in them. I kindly thank Ale for posing for me with patient. Thanks to her hair style, I am pretty sure you can recognize her in my last paintings ;)

Oil pastels on board. I used terpenoid to blend the pastels like paint on the canvas. From my latest art class.

For this piece I used acrylic paints and acrylic markers. My inspiration was my love of tattoo flash and traditional/neo-traditional tattoo designs. I grew up flipping through pages of tattoo flash catalogues and the art inside was a huge influence in my own art. Some of these pieces are my versions of popular designs and some are originals.

Peony flowers from my garden earlier this year. Bartzella Itoh peony. A bit heavy-handed in my opinion, but I still like the outcome.

My illustrated Bunny is detailed with wild flowers, flora and fauna and drawn using pen & ink.

A teapot design features colorful flowers inside. The vibrant hues of pink, yellow, and green stand out, creating a striking contrast with the blue teapot.

Watercolor commissions I did for a wedding theme around Mediterrano and Provence, here are some crabs, shells and a decorative pattern

Originally painted in watercolor on watercolor paper and then filtered digitally. Inspired by Sara Berrenson and her book on how to Watercolor Flowers.

I painted these watercolor florals a few months ago. I love both color pallets, which I used - on the left side cold colors: blue and gray, and on the right side, some warm green and pastel rose.
