As a fun way to come up with drawing prompts I've been thinking up rhyming couplets (a la Dr. Suess) with my wife. Particularly pleased with this one! It's going to a friend who loves D&D. Pen and watercolour on paper, 5x7".

After my high school boyfriend and I broke up, I went to prom with a group of single friends. While I was in the bathroom, I overheard someone saying, "Leah Budin put in no effort at all." Ouch.

A woman's face is her work of fiction. Got inspired by one of my friends photo and thought of putting it on paper.

A lady at work asked me to make an elephant for her as a gift for a friend. I sketched a bunch of different options and finally came up with this. Watercolor on drawing paper with marker.
(Fineliner on 190mm x 120mm paper) This was one of the more larger pieces I did last year (and by large I mean just under A5). It depicts a friendly alien species who, having travelled light years across space, shared the fruits of their knowledge with us, and assimilated into human life as best they could, is still confronted with one of those age-old questions of ignorance.
