Title: Windows to the Soul Medium: Ink on sketch Book Paper Size: 10” X 14” Year: 01/09/2020 This Illustration is a pulmonary design/study for a future painting. Theme was born from a poem I wrote a couple years ago, by the same title. The main massage is that Christians are to be windows that Jesus Christs can shine His light of, Love, truth, mercy, salvation, hope, new life, in to a darkened world by the power of sin. The power of sin is what subjects all creation under destruction, suffer, death, decay. The Devil, and countless fallen angel use these tools to destroy the human race. Christians Have victory, through faith in Christ, from being a salves to sin, they have obtain adoption into God’s family, and removed from the coming damnation that is for the rebellious angels and the humans. Christian still are still temped to commit sin, and still make bad choices. Christian’s sin, hinder their effectiveness to be a witnesses for God’s kingdom, their short comings are like black drapes, that hang in a widow, that hinder the sunlight from brightening and warming a dark cold room. The massage communicated by symbolism The stair well leading down with the railing around it: The railing: The 3 petal flower is a Keltic symbol for the trinity of God. The railing around the stair well: Represents, God’s desire that none should perish but to repent. It also represents that people go to hell by their own choice, through their deliberate rebellious living against God. No ne accidently end up on the wrong side of the railroad tracks. The Stairs going down: Represents sinful humanity that is separated from a holy God. Without a spiritual intervention, we all have one destination that is the lake of fire, which is the finale judgement for sin. The open glass pane door: Represents God wants humanity to except his invitation to commune with Him, receive the new life He offers to provide for them. The stair case without railings: Represents the path to TheHeaven, which must me travailed by faith. The partly open drapes hanging in the Picture widow. Represent sin that try to prevent the light of truth to penetrate the darkness of deception. The railing with the fishes and crosses: This represent the Heavenly destination of Christian. It also stand for Christian being God’s Life guard. While living in the world, their mission is to take the salvation message into all the world. The second Floor open door, the entrance filled with light: This represents the entrance to Heaven. The globe sculpture represents a world needing to be repossessed, from the power of the curse of sin. By the hand of God, it will made new, absent of rebellious angel and humans. Just thinking about the state of the world and the future...

Whew! Baby yoda was fun to draw and gave me an excuse to get familiar with some of these brushes. The original sketch had a special guest, so you might see this one pop up again in the future. Hope you like him! .

Pencil Drawing

The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. Inktober 2019, day 1: Ring. also, a test for my future webcomic. A bit too time consuming, thought pretty.

This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. A sketch I did with the intention of adding watercolor to hopefully in the near future.

Due to financial/logistical reasons, I can't do literal linocuts as often as I'd like, so I draw my illustrations in reverse, flip them digitally, have them printed, and then color them in by hand. The result is basically an "artist's print". I only make one of each. These were watercolor, but I've recently discovered gouache, so keep an eye out for future pieces that incorporate that.

A commission that didn't work out. They had something specific in mind but hadn't relayed that. I will learn to ask more questions in the future :) live and learn! I'll likely post the new one when it's done.

I haven’t been that active here so, rather than waiting a day to post each of my new works, I’m going to just stick with my latest. And this isn’t exactly an oc, but I could draw him again in the future. I also don’t have a name for him yet, so you can write a suggestion in the comments. I drew this since I’m kinda facing a dilemma and sketching helps me clear my mind and think.

I decided to practice posing with a character that has a certain style. I also wanted to test a design for my artist logo. I will definitely be making a digital version of this character in the near future. Colored with Artify alcohol-based markers, and a white Gellyroll pen for highlights.

I believe the future is about connection. Sometimes it seems that technology is making us more alone, but I like to believe that with every post, like, comment, follow, share, email and tweet, we are making ourselves more visible to one another. And together, we can make ourselves heard... Keep it positive, keep it loud, and keep it going forever.

I don't have this one for sale on anything that I know of. It's just a sketch of a possible positive future. There are too many dystopias. If we all assume things are going to end terribly, it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

A dark image that reflects in witness that does not need to be said, understood beneath the horrid reflections for which various creatures through time, present, in future sorrows, harmed to nightmares or death, fractured eyes that seep lands familiar, but rarely be spoken. An image of harsh reality.

Shivers that confirm discomfort, sickness ravage this unknown diagnosis. Tears with fear, unware of this future. Thoughts brightly lay lone depression.

Here I am, standing in front of the future. What are his plans for me?..

A Future

Doodling has become an essential part of new beginnings in my life. The blank page is encouraging unplanned art that surprises me and pushes me in new directions. This piece speaks to me of fresh starts and flowing into the future full of change and magical possibilities.
