I have no mouth and I must scream! ink, watercolour, gouache and gold leaf on paper, 75x50cm, 2020, POA. Another artwork created in lockdown. A reflection of and introspection into thoughts and feeling of living during a pandemic.
I got a pack of loose watercolour paper from eBay in 2018. The side this was painted on had a really strange pitted texture on it. I thought it might be interesting but I didn't like the way the paint gathered in the pits. I just use it for sketching and testing colours these days.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Here are five of the shorter animatronics, which take up the main stage! There are three sections of the stage, like the Rock-afire Explosion's original stage! The animatronics are all different animals, like usual. They even have different teeth! The first animatronic's name is Preistor, and he's the blue rabbit. He plays guitar. Then we have Elizabeth, a hot-pink cat, and she's the female singer. Then we have Altor, a yellow bear. He plays the drums. Then we've got Bruce, a green mouse, who's the male singer. Finally, we have Lexibo, a purple elephant. She plays the piano. They were created by Jester (Dellusion was created by Jester, too) for entertainment. Unlike FNaF, there are no dead kids possesing these guys. At least, none relating with Jester and his crew. Actually, they're vessels for lost spirits! They've been specifically engineered for lost souls to posses them. However, in the day, they act wonderfully for entertainment. Don't be frightened by the absence of eyes! They're always watching with those little cameras in their mouths. These guys, including Jester and Dellusion, were inspired by the funtime animatronics from FNaF SL. Drawn with FireAlpaca. I got Procreate a bit ago and it took me too long to figure it out and learn how to work with it. I was so used to my old program that starting all over got pretty discouraging. I finally finished my first procreate portrait! There are a few things I’m not happy about but I’m not sure how to fix them. Any ideas and advice are super welcome!!!
To many I know a hibiscus flower might represent endless tropical summers. Up north where I live, hibiscus is the often the last flower to bloom while fall is setting in. While vibrant, I wanted it to feel lonely as seasonal changes are very introspective times in my life.
I did this sketch a while ago, but it still holds up. These two (Richard Dixon left, Asher Dixon right) are brothers, who have two very well-off parents. They live in a five story mansion, but still go to a public school because of where they live. They're both blond, but Richard dyes his hair purple.
So this is the ~Finished Product~ of that one Linh drawing, and I took it with my phone so it's not as bad quality. Looking back now, I could have done so much better, but it is what it is. Besides, I've practiced and gotten so much better, and I'm proud of myself for that!! :)

I just finished my very first book illustration gig. It was a ton of work and the client is really happy! Just a few years ago I never would have dreamed I'd illustrate a book. Yay me!
The Soul Harvest
The Soul Harvest is done in a surrealistic style and is spiritual in content. This painting
illustrates the world as being a field filled with souls from every corner of the earth
needing to be saved from eternal death, which is the punishment for sin.
But by hearing and understanding and receiving the good news, through faith in
Jesus’s death for the sin of man, man can be forgiven and have eternal life with God.
The farm tools leaning against the fence are an invitation to those who know Jesus
to pick up their God-given talents and go into the world and use them to spread the
good news.
The inside of the barn, with the wheat sheaths standing up, illustrates the souls that
have received eternal life through the work of the believer, and the crown is their
reward from God.

Painted original (watercolor on watercolor canvas) about 15 years ago. Wasn't satisfied and so I put away forever. Except, not forever. Have started a project of revamping old paintings that were not quite right, and that now seem salvageable. This was the first. Worked on it for a few minutes a few days a week for a few months, never going too far. Goal was to improve not recreate. Kinda having fun with this new project. Artists tend to do this, take a new tact, find a new route.
Day 1: Paloma! My accidental quarantine kind of cocktail! I love grapefruit and I usually use it in a DIY Gatorade but quarantine necessity has found me adding some "cleaning" vodka. (I don't normally drink vodka but I keep some around for natural cleaning).
I bought these grave-etcher brushes from @retrosupply awhile ago and finally tested them out. Digging it! Also practiced working in illustrator with the iPad mirrored. A little buggy and rough for someone who has only worked with a mouse.
