I feel like my drawings got a lot more dimensional and interesting once I was able to achieve variable line width. I love loading different colors into the pen and going HAM on paper that totally can't handle it. My sketchbooks crackle when I turn the pages. They buckle and heave and are exhausted from their tribulations.
Over the course of a few months, I got to work with Good Karma For All on what you might consider a "passion project". The job consisted of freehand painting murals on every single (large) wall and hand-lettering inspirational quotes all over the inside and outside of the building.
That one time I thought it would be a good idea to coat my lips with black ink and kiss the paper. Regretted it for the next 3 hours walking about feeling like a goth.
Pasted in my art journal. I had to "stretch" the 98 lb canson xl watercolor paper first. I'm new to this, but finally got it right. started to "buckle" a bit while painting then flattened back out when dry, but kept it taped down till dry. lots to lea

A woman's face is her work of fiction. Got inspired by one of my friends photo and thought of putting it on paper.

We have been living in a hotel since 9/2/2016 and all my art stuff is in storage. I got some pencils and this sketch book from the dollar store. I thought my art days were over. Maybe they are. Enjoy.
