After forcing myself through some long lasting 100 layer paintings, just doing a quick two day one feels refreshing. I will hang this one on the wall, but for the bigger version im gonna make a more natural looking fox cub.

A dragon I designed and sculpted, took many many hours to complete but super happy with the outcome. Sculpted using polymer clay, painted with acrylic gouache and coated with varnish.

Gourd-face started out as a tiny doodle in my sketchbook but I couldn't stop thinking about him. So I drew several gourd-faces. This one has the unfortunate circumstance of growing on his face. Poor Gourdy. I drew him with pencil and then colored on the computer. Cheers!

This was inspired by the artwork of AnneliesDraws. She has an amazing skills with gouache and colored pencils. I don't have gouache paints and so I tried making an illustration using my watercolor paints. I tried increasing the opacity of the watercolor to almost the same as of the gouache paints. I think lionfish are very pretty , too bad they are a damaging invasive species in so many areas .

One of my gouache paintings from a few years back . I don't do too many landscapes so this was sort of expiramental.

A spider in a bush outside my house from a photo I took as the sun was setting .

What inspired me with this piece was an enchanted forest. The purple trees and pinkish leaves plus the somewhat colorful grass (capturing it with my camera was a little tough but its a mix of forest and deep green with some blue) and the shrooms made me think of a kind of air of mysticism and fantasy. The Elk is one of my favorite animals and I feel has a regal presence almost in it. I thought about adding more vegetation but I was afraid of adding too much. What do you think? ^^
