"Focus" this piece is about focusing your intention on your dreams, activities, life. Also, I love Peggy Gou - a Korean DJ who is an absolute pleasure to watch. Not only is she super skilled, but you can tell she absolutely loves what she does.
I took an hour or two and drew some owls while watching the 7th Harry Potter movie. It's official. I've gone to the dark side and fallen in love with acrylic gouache - specifically the Liquitex one. Cute peaceful fox drinking coffee, wearing a scarf. Trying gouache for the first time. It's a really nice medium. I am definitely going to keep at it and make some more gouache paintings.
Daily Painting Challenge 4 - argyle
Following the daily painting challenge with Lisa Congdon over at CreativeBug though I haven't quite managed to keep up daily. Still, it's wonderful picking the brush up again and splashing around with paint!

This painting was made with gouache on cardboard 400 gr / m² with a height of 32 cm and a width of 24 cm.
May 2019 was a month that I focused on collaging my own handmade paper together to create illustrations. I also started trying out gouache, to mixed results. It's a skill I intend to learn!
I look at way too many carefully decorated spaces on Pinterest, so I painted one of them and then opened up the room to nature. Also a way to experiment with "gouache painting" in Adobe Fresco.
