Purposely unfinished piece of work featuring a female with freckles. My focus was capturing a captivating look in her eyes. Mainly a practice/study piece.
Every once in awhile, this poem floats to the top of my head and I taste plums.
This Is Just To Say
William Carlos Williams - 1883-1963
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

I draw a dream I had. Title: "Spread the love" graphite e fine point pen over 150 g/m² paper. #arte #art #desenho #drawing #grafite #graphite #desenhocolorido #colordrawing #cor #color #finepointpen #canetapontafina #boatarde #goodevening #amor #love #espalheoamor #spreadthelove
Had some doubts on this one. Originally planned for more in the back and foreground. Felt it might take away from the wolf as the focal point. Graphite pencils. Black was charcoal pencils.
I drew a braid today I said to myself that I was going to start doing more painting and graphite work I showed it to my brother and he immediately saw it to be a braid so I was happy about that. I was sketching braids out a lot yesterday and now I’m trying to work on my shading and value tones for this piece. I think the shading came out OK I do think it can be better. I’m thinking about taking one or two days off from work just so can I really focus on more art.
