I drew a braid today I said to myself that I was going to start doing more painting and graphite work I showed it to my brother and he immediately saw it to be a braid so I was happy about that. I was sketching braids out a lot yesterday and now I’m trying to work on my shading and value tones for this piece. I think the shading came out OK I do think it can be better. I’m thinking about taking one or two days off from work just so can I really focus on more art.

To me,drawing muscular bodies isn't simple (I wish it was)so I had to use a reference (of course, nothing wrong with that!)it was really difficult coloring however was fun!the old sketch I drew is from 2019 I was literally 17,I drew him with a really long neck.What inspired me would surprise anyone;A Disney Prince but I don't remember which one.Dezeo like most incubuses lust after women and take every bit of their energy.Dezeo however becomes fascinated with adult Glenice (probably of her red hair)and becomes obsessed with her,he is relaxed and less volatile than Malvada The Succubus.which makes him a less dangerous foe but still a threat.Dezeo is defeated after 3 days and is banished to hell by Gerard

When I shared some work that looked like this, the response I got was, it was trippy. And instantly I thought, what a cool series to create! Thus the Acid series was born. This piece, Sulphuric Acid H2SO4 is the first of five from that series.

I really hate to draw noses. For me it's always the starting point to mess up a face. As I left out facial features in most of my drawings... I have to start facing my fears.

I’ve decided to try doing a galaxy painting again, I really like doing the first one. Honestly, I think the first one was better than the second one,which is weird but I’ve definitely learned a lot doing the second one like how I want to layer down the paint and what the background should look like. This is another 4, 6 x 6 painting like I did before; I’m gonna try doing planets again on each board, i want to get better at this.

Rainy days = a perfect excuse for a shedload of coffee and drawing to indulge in. :) Occurs to me I did one with the title “Laurel Weaver” close to four years ago. Not much else connects the two beyond the title or does it? I don’t know... Whatever the case, I fancied recycling and revisiting this idea somehow. Enjoy!

What to do while you're waiting for the result of your rapid test? Doodling, of course!

An automatic drawing, everything is out of my head with only the briefest idea of a story line. I played around with shapes and lines and shading to see what affect would result. It was fun, but time consuming.

Biking is my second love. And I should do more images like this as my imagination flies when I bike.

This painting illustrates a man who finds safety from drowning in a stormy sea by climbing on to a platform in shape of a cross. The storm itself represents the trial we face in life. The shipwrecked person shows that we have nothing we can approach God with that would sway Him to help us when we call on Him for help. Only out of grace and mercy does He rescue us. The platform in the shape of the cross represents that God has provided a way for man to escape punishment for his sins, which would have been casting him into the lake of fire after death. Through God’s love and mercy, He punished Jesus for man’s sin; the guiltless Son of God was punished so that the guilty sinful humans could be saved through faith. The step represents man’s need to come to God humbly through Jesus to receive anything from God. The light breaking through the clouds represents God hearing the man’s prayer and answering it. I didn't know what to draw but I know Valentine’s Day is this month so I decided to draw hearts for today. This month Im going to try  to stick to two mediums painting and sketching with graphite pencils to build my skills with them.

I have been doing this challenge for 31 days honestly I thought that I wasn’t going to do it because I set goals for myself before and I never really went through and achieved them but I have had so much time to myself during this pandemic during these past two years that I feel like I should’ve been doing something but never did and I just didn’t want another year pass and not doing anything and which is the whole reason I have been doing this challenge 31 days wasn’t that bad and I hope to keep on going for the next 334 days I think getting to 100 will be a big milestone for me that would be something to celebrate

Just having fun with details, mechanical parts are always a fun way to do that
