first attempt at drawing the back of an character,it was easy since Lime Verde is circular.Major Lime Verde is an old but competent fruit who has successfully stopped drug and arms smuggling in most parts of the city,even crime which of course angers many kingpins.shortly after his 2nd term he gets in a freak accident caused by Paxton Pomegranate (a crook who has ties with a drug lord)for firing him.Paxton soon finds and contracts a replacement.a fitness trainer who happens to be a himbo along with his ditzy although smarter girlfriend.Verde soons finds himself helpless and amnesiac.

Medium : Pen and Ink on Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15" Year completed : 1987 This rendering is part of a collection of illustrations entitled " The Army Years." This rendering remind me of a ride I took on A Army National Guard helicopter,while I was serving in the Air Force- Civil Air Patrol. We were helping them to figure out the safest, and fastest, flight paths between hospitals, for when a patient needs to be air lifted from one hospital to another. I got to rider in one of the sides compartments of the craft, with the side door open ( of course I was strapped in to my seat ) the craft at one point flew with my side parole to the grown, as it made a couple of sharp turn, real fun ride. I served in the Civil Air Patrol for 4 year, one of the benefits, was a lot of flying time. I Severed in the United States Army fore 9 years, 4 years National Guard, and 4 years Regular Army. While in the military , I was a anti tank toe missile crewman, Combat Engineer , and a Field Medic. I served during The Panama War, Desert Shield/ Desert Storm, Police action in Somalia. This picture is entitled " Support Is on The Way." because any field soldier know that helicopter are the main transport vehicle for delivering, supplies, mail, equipment, moving troops back and forth, from the rear to the battlefield. Hello everyone! This is just a sketch, a very quick sketch, but I would like advice on how to draw babies. I understand the face shape is a little different, but if anyone Is willing, I would like some help. I want to do this art work for my moms close friend, of her two kids. This will be a challenge but I would love some advice.

So doodling is truly an obsession w me. I always try to draw w-out thot & w unabandoned freedom... so trying to draw something that doesn't exist or creating odd critter scenarios is the goal yet my wit & craft always get in the way since after seeing things unfold that i can't help but to redefine & give them a definitive humorous caption. My sense of humor is constant. So here r a few things that revealed themselves to me... There's a bullet turtle [Ironic & similar to a bullet train] There's a piece of Indian corn bread which produces popcorn bread; In the back ground is a 'full' moon [Hence the burping & a Moon Wok. I like aesthetic things but my witty mind just won't leave enough alone!

Yet again, this came from a doodle... then from there, i just couldn't help myself & continued to add more fun & a few extra nutty bonus cartoons. Hence the number 6. A great caricature artist by the name of Al Hirschfield used to add & scribble his daughters' name into each drawing. He then would add a number next to his signature signaling how many times the name 'Nina' would appear. So in a similar way i too have decided to add a number but mine will simply offer a hint for how many extra cartoons i have deliberately added. Can u find them?

I would like to place a red rose somewhere in the vicinity of the red circle. Should I make the background darker than the Friesian, lighter (grey-ish) than the Friesian, or keep it how it is? Any opinions/comments would be very helpful.

With the help of liner pens, Col-Erase pencils, and a white gel pen, I was able to design a fighter type character.. That doesn't have a name yet. I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants to give her an official title.

That time when age finally caught up to the feisty Maester at Castle Black, Aemon Targaryen. He cries out to ’Egg’, his brother once in a while and at one point said, ‘Egg, I dreamt I was old!’ - Not all old people are frail, some are healthy and hearty and incredibly robust and sturdy! At first I couldn’t decide whether to draw Maester Aemon or Jojen Reed, who despite being young, also grew frail as he helped Bran across the Wall to help him find the Three-Eyed Raven. I finally decided to save that one for another Inktober word prompt. I did wanted to draw Maester Aemon and honor the actor who played him, Peter Vaughn, who passed away in 2016.

Way out of my comfort zone today, went to the National Gallery of Victoria to draw, I met a bunch of awesome new people and helped rescue a very tired and dehydrated bat.

Inspired by the symbolism of the cherry blossom flower, which represents beauty and strength, as well as the expression, “Life, Death, and Renewal”, this piece completely embodies this expression, reflecting on the harmonious balance between human and nature. Each unique detail, from the soft elegance of the cherry blossoms, the chaotic nature of the setting, followed by the expression of complete calmness of her delicate features, helps portray the turmoils she once faced, and how she overcame her fears and saw her true beauty.

A quick sketch of a man holding a cup of coffee. This was drawn from a reference photo. Lately I've been practicing portraits. Trying to limit myself to 20 mins or so and just draw the basic form as best I can. Otherwise I'll fiddle with the details and spend hours trying to adjust things. Sketching in ink helps also since I can't erase. Need to get more comfortable sketching faster, but I like the way this turned out.

This coffee cup doodle is in honour of everyone who works or who has ever worked the night shift. For those of us who work all night and still have responsibilities that can only be dealt with during the day, sleep often seems like a luxury for those who work the day shift. Coffee is our go to comfort and caffeine kick, our best friend who we can always count on to help us through those working nights when everyone else is sleeping.
