hi

Our car locked by somebody else

This is Ace and Buttercup from Powerepuff Girls (the classic) (yes I used a base just this once dont hate me)

My daughter

Drawn using graphite blocks and soft pastels....:)

Trying to draw floaty girls and it's not working.

I am proud of my achievement to have finished my sketchgrind day 30 ! Today's task: drawing from reference owls.

I created this card for someone to bring to a Law of Attraction event. I drew the flowers, came up with the phrase, and then set the type. The blue background is iStock.

Another doodle I did starting with 3 blank boxes, and then I just go with it, trying not to think too much. This little kitty makes me smile. So do the flowers!

Currently working on this one

Quick random sketches

A sketch with my cat color version is still in progress. Done in fine line black pen.

Lots of quality family time so no sketching today, instead I will post up a drawing I made last month while procrastinating because it was far too hot for housework and I was dreaming of going back to the beach.

Coloured pencils used to create a Victorian scene. This is my other style of artwork. Previous posts are based on reality, but I do a lot of little illustration style drawings from my imagination. Thanks for looking.

I have neglected posting for too long! "Abstract Forest" will be uploaded to all my sites over the next day or so, so keep checking back for clothing, pillows, and more with the new print!!! The original drawing is going to be for sale at a local art show (if my application passes). Find all my art product sites here: https://linktr.ee/okhismakingart

Lurking under the sea, she waits... Made using ink and coffee on hand-cut watercolor paper measuring 5x7 inches (C)2018. (In the collection of Candice C.)

I just finished another character design! This one is traditional, but I will eventually create a digital version.

Dandelions are one of a butterfly’s first food source. This is part of a sandwich bag art project I’ve been doing since 2008.

This was done in soft pastels

Didn't get as much time as I was hoping to continue working on this page today but happy to keep things slowly moving along.

Ballpoint & acrylic on an original 1924 vintage Vogue cover.

Second up in the "uploading progress pieces since I get questions about my art process" is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle print I'm working on for a convention. This is the rough sketch, next up I'll clean it up and do my guide lines for inking. Hopefully I won't have to redraw Donatello

Be curious not afraid! This is part of my daily Sketchgrind day 29. Today's task: drawing from reference spider crabs.

This is an 11.5"x16.5" piece painted with guoache on Bristol paper. This was inspired by one of Bob Ross' paintings.

Started with an idea this morning but not really a plan so I'm not 100% where this one is going but I have certainly had fun getting it to this point, looking forward to getting stuck into it again tomorrow.

sketching at the art museum , 6"x8.5"

Someone said they had an image of a friend as a human-squirrel hybrid, and then this happened...
