It's definitely been a bit since I've posted, sorry about that, things have gotten very chaotic very quickly. I'm officially less than a month out from graduation (the finish line is almost here!), which also means it's time for my teachers to cram in projects. Other than that, I'm happy to say I received two official art commissions! I'm hoping to get something set up to hopefully begin selling some pieces, but, for now, I'll have some pieces in a gallery soon. Things, things, things, and Tony's face. Caluzco and Bardy are Grent's friends since the 5th grade and are in Grent's group ever since along with Adely & Nelsy.Compare to other characters,they are easy to draw but finally i drew them.Caluzco (Calum Loretz) is a crazy,erractic class clown who is one of the oldest in the group (he is 17 for failing the 5th grade so is Bardy)he was a foster care since he was a baby and had suffered a lot since then (which explains his behaviour)but now he is jolly but silly most of the times getting in trouble for being reckless along with bardy.Bardy (Bardon) he is not much of a class clown but he loves sports and he loves acting.he's very ordinary compared to his other friends however he can still be rude to Morisson and laughs when he gets mocked by either Grent,Adely or Nelsy or even Devin.he hates math and has learning difficulties like Caluzco but they still work together to make the best of 10th grade.
Nitescape. The mysterious going city across the great ocean, far away from Nornwan and far forgotten, but they have not forgotten. They still have hints of the old world in their dome of cyber charged pessimism. These are the results from a request to create a piece based on a fathers son's nicknames. The older brother is the moon, second the bear, third the bird. Added the stars as the parents.
His first request was of a tattoo of sorts ...but I struggled and my drawings kept turning into children illustrations. I so enjoyed the challenge and it gave me an opportunity to honor the love of family. At the same time, it was hard to associate them into a tattoo:) .
I modified the challenge a wee bit. I didn't use the same paper for the various drawings since I was using (top row, left to right) hard graphite pencils (3H to HB), watercolor pencils, (bottom row, left to right) brush pens and ballpoint pen. These media work best on very different paper textures and moisture absorbing qualities. The second picture shows the object of my study --- and the apparatus I use to hold botanical subjects. "Third hand" tools are very useful and cheap. This one was under $10 and serves my purposes well. Just FYI. (Each drawing/painting was scanned and composited in Photoshop.)
I finally drew Prince Fendren's ectoplasmic yet wicked companion,Snideacious.last time I drew him was last year and I didn't name him at all but he was still my OC.He is a low ranking phantom demon who's only purpose is to possess,kill and destroy.due to this,the rest of his kind has been wiped out entirely,making him the only possessor demon in hell,he travels throughout locations in hell.he was almost killed by many demons he tried to take control of.Fedren and him have a mutual relationship,Fedren had no desire to kill him considering snides weakness is magick he can be controlled but not mind controlled (no brain)Snide hates Fedren,often insulting him and even enjoying seeing him in pain when he is fighting a foe.Snide has possessed Fedren before,which was not only agonizing to Fedren but embarassing (being half naked inside the kingdom) since then he only posesses him for a good reason,they both go on adventures (although dangerous) in hell together,meeting new demons(usually evil) and discovering realms.(ignore my terrible handwriting)
