Many beginnings. Beginning 4. Nobody suspected anything yet. * Starting is easy, it's the middle that is often a muddle. And I won't even mention the endings. Here are some beginnings for children stories that flitter through my head.

I decided to illustrated a picture of @justinhofman published in Sept 19 of 2017 in @natgeo about the pollution and how animals are suffering for our ways of using plastic. This seahorse was captured in the waters of Sumbawa Besar, Indonesia. “The art of pollution”.

Horses ... These noble animals have always been a source of inspiration for every artist, sculptor, photographer and will never cease to delight us as one of the most successful creations of God, pleasing the eye and soul with graceful forms.

Seahorse are of the genus Hippocampus, from the Ancient Greek, hippos meaning "horse" and kampos meaning "sea monster". Seahorses are not great swimmers so they spend a lot of time with their tail wrapped around stationery objects.

A horse with a gasmask was the photo that provoked this. I was imagining other animals so outfitted, and a fish was the craziest. Brown ink, colour pencil and whiteout.

Working on my first portrait (of a human :) and so far I’m pretty happy with how it’s turning out. Any tips or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I laid down the initial layer of this large piece in pencil about a year ago and finally returned to it this weekend to add accents in ink.

First commission done! This is Six.

This drawing was done as a request for someone, the horse that I drew is an award winning show horse named Black Prince. This was my second attempt at realism using black fine liners and pencils, personally I think I didn't do too bad.

It's Winter so...

This is a “creative color wheel” done for an art class. I took the grey way to far over for the shoulder, but other than that I don’t hate how it turned out.

Colored pencil on 28 x 16-in bleed proof paper.

Finally finished! This project took many long hours (about 8-9) and reduced my brand new 6B pencil to nothing but a tiny stub... “Black Gold” is done in graphite on 80 lb drawing paper. If you are interested in prints please contact me via my website.
