Based on a photograph of a hibiscus flower enjoying its last day in the garden before being brought back home before the Canadian fall and winter. I imported the photo in Procreate and the rest is history.

Just wanted to draw something in between sessions working on Finals. Done in Photoshop CC 2020 with a Noise brush which works nicely like charcoal which I'm used to.

Meet Dr. Lorna Breen. She was in the trenches of the front line inside the New York hot zone during the first wave of the pandemic. She saw the massive influx of patients she knew she could not save (29,000 deaths reported in April, 2020). She contracted the virus and after recuperating, went straight back to work. A week and a half later, the hospital sent her home. Her family intervened to bring her back home to Charlottesville, Virginia. During her visit with her family, she seemed “detached.” She passed away April 26, 2020 at the UVA University Hospital in Charlottesville from self-inflicted wounds. I figured it'd be a while until I draw (in full detail) ALL of the Altitone band members, so I made each one a sprite. Their names are (from left to right): (The first one is a base), Elizabeth the hot pink cat, Preistor the sky blue rabbit, Altor the golden bear, Bruce the green mouse, Lexibo the violet elephant, Mary the short red fox, Dexter the blue-gray Racoon DJ, and the three cheerleaders: Rosette the crimson mouse, Oopsie the russet fox, and Pastelle the cotton candy short-eared rabbit. On the very bottom are the instruments. In order, they are Elizabeth's mic, Preistor's guitar, Altor's drum set, Bruce's mic, Lexibo's piano, Mary's oil drum (not an instrument, but Mary hides her bottom half in the oil drum, sort of like Looney Bird from The Rock-afire Explosion (which is why she has no legs)), and Dexter's DJ board. The last three are cheerleaders, and their hands have been replaced with cheerleading pom poms. On stage left, we have Dexter and Mary. On the center stage, we have Preistor, Altor, Lexibo, Elizabeth, and Bruce. On stage right is Rosette, Oopsie, and Pastelle. Made with Piskel. (If you're wondering where Jester and Dellusion are, they aren't band members --- but rather seperate attractions (and Jester doesn't even perform.))

A little painting exercise in Photoshop inspired by Gustav Klimt and the month of November.

One of my favorite cartoon tomboys and my favorite character from Recess.This actually turned out well since I took long coloring (as usual) but i'm still considering switching to Photoshop.Everybody should seriously watch Recess,It's an outstanding,delightfully fun,memorable cartoon with a diverse cast of characters (like Hey Arnold)It deserves more love and praise.

Hi! I just now created this page because I have a problem!! I love the idea of drawing (digital, graphite, markers, microns you name it), BUT I never actually get anything finished. It's a curse that has haunted me my entire life. Any good advice on how to stay consistent and follow through with your drawings? This one I've been doodling with Sketchable, using the photo to the left as reference just to eyeball off. I worked on it for a few days and was super inspired and now a year has passed from that (!!!) and It's still in this stage of almost done but I'm struggling with getting back into it..

I asked my husband (who is our Covid-period grocery shopper as I am high risk) to bring home a fruit to draw. He came home with a dragon fruit. For those who don't know this interesting edible, it's from a cactus. There are two species: the Asian species is white inside, the Central American variety is shocking pink (see photo). Great in smoothies or when nicely ripe (as this one was) it's tasty eaten out of the skin with a spoon.

This is a pen and ink of my mother from a photo taken this October. No pencil outline and two hours with a .005 micron pen.

Spotted these two squirrels while out walking during spring 2018. The highly entertaining pair were exceptionally easy to photograph. NOTE: I'm working on how to make a better digital image of my artwork. Will get there--sorry for the gray background.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Here are five of the shorter animatronics, which take up the main stage! There are three sections of the stage, like the Rock-afire Explosion's original stage! The animatronics are all different animals, like usual. They even have different teeth! The first animatronic's name is Preistor, and he's the blue rabbit. He plays guitar. Then we have Elizabeth, a hot-pink cat, and she's the female singer. Then we have Altor, a yellow bear. He plays the drums. Then we've got Bruce, a green mouse, who's the male singer. Finally, we have Lexibo, a purple elephant. She plays the piano. They were created by Jester (Dellusion was created by Jester, too) for entertainment. Unlike FNaF, there are no dead kids possesing these guys. At least, none relating with Jester and his crew. Actually, they're vessels for lost spirits! They've been specifically engineered for lost souls to posses them. However, in the day, they act wonderfully for entertainment. Don't be frightened by the absence of eyes! They're always watching with those little cameras in their mouths. These guys, including Jester and Dellusion, were inspired by the funtime animatronics from FNaF SL. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
