Although this is my commercial work, it's more in keeping with my sketchbook drawings so I'm posting it here. It's for Waitrose My week magazine on old photos of V.E day and what we can lean from them in our current international emergency.
For this I used a red colored pencil and inverted my drawing on Photoshop. In the dream, everything is black and I can't see anything, only feel it. Here I outlined everything I can feel so that it can be seen.
I don’t know, I doodled on my hand and took a photo of it and edited it. I personally think it looks cool but that’s just my opinion. -I have depression, and have been/am a cutter so that explains the words written.
I am continuing to try to paint without outlining in pen first - just starting with a pencil sketch. I used this awesome photo as reference: https://www.pexels.com/photo/chimpanzee-sitting-on-gray-stone-in-closeup-photography-during-daytime-33787/
Here's the rough in of a collage of little plants in various containers... just a fun scribble on a hot, summer afternoon. Color is on the way... 9x12 micron on mixed media board
This picture was a participation to one of Creads' contest. I had to create a mascot for a french animation convention, with the theme CMYK. So... hu... I actually don't remember why I made the kitty six limbed, but hey, I'm not surprised by myself. A snapshot of a work in progress. Potential poster art? What do you think? Coffee wash background, spitshaded black and grey... Still more work to be done! Thanks for looking. :)
