Unexpected Visitor This color sketch was done for a pumpkin carving design I did for the Chadds Ford Historical Society Great Pumpkin Carving contest. The sketch is a a lot more impressive then what you can see here ,unfortunately when the picture was scanned ,The Kinkos sale person chopped half of the image that shows the hands, one point at you, and the other holding the sickle,and the flowing rope hanging off the Grim Reaper's arms. I spent a couple of week just studying skeleton to do this sketch. I was Inspire to do this design by the thought that came across my mine about death. We are like helpless babies playing Peek A Boo when it come to our knowledge of the time death will drop by to pick us off. Some people who are terminally ill and are told by the doctor they have only a couple of days to live,must feel like the Grim Reaper is sitting right in front of them with his face hidden behind his hands, and when you lest expected he opens his hand like to great door turning on their hinges to open up to reveal him sticks his face in their's and shrieking ,"Peek A Boo," and followed by a hideous laugh . Used Clip Studio to draw my new Orc Barbarian, Ama'Ra. I'm still learning how to utilize different parts of clip studio, and for this I tried using a 3D pre-posed model.

We all start from zero. We learn to crawl, we learn to walk, we learn to run, and we fall. We get back up and keep on going. But life is complicated, it doesn't always go as we hope for. The urge to give up drags you down. And we struggle to fight and climb our way back up. We fall again, we climb again. Sometimes weaker, sometimes stronger than before. The secret? Just keep on going, no matter how hard things are because one day, everything will be okay. And that glimmer of hope is what I struggle to fight for each day.

Someone challenged me to draw an aspect of thought today and I wasn't sure how to approach it but this is what it ended up like

I drew a braid today I said to myself that I was going to start doing more painting and graphite work I showed it to my brother and he immediately saw it to be a braid so I was happy about that. I was sketching braids out a lot yesterday and now I’m trying to work on my shading and value tones for this piece. I think the shading came out OK I do think it can be better. I’m thinking about taking one or two days off from work just so can I really focus on more art.

Jesus And Peter On The Water Medium: Pen And Ink On sketch Book Paper Size: 12" X 18" Date Completed: 9/ 22/15 This study is for an upcoming paint about the life of Christ. The drawling it's self took about two week time of working on it off and on. The research stage took about two months. This study is attempt to capture spirit of being out on the water walking with Jesus during a storm on the sea of Galilee. I hope the viewer can feel Peter anxiety as he is sinking in to the lake as fierce storm drain peter faith in his ability to walk on water through the ability the lord gave him. I wanted to show how compassionate Jesus is to quickly crouch down to rescue peter from drawing and get him back to the safety of the boat with the rest of the disciples, which is outside of the illustration.. Some people feel that i should have Jesus feet visible above the water,so people don't get the notion that Jesus is sinking in the water too. But if I do that it would alter what it would really look like in the natural world ,because even if Jesus's feet were on top of the water this might not be visible to the viewer because the waves in front of Jesus might block the view of his feet. This illustration make think about the time we have all tried to do a task that the lord has call us to, but we have tried to accomplish the task depending on our own strength in stead of the strength of the holy Spirit. Explosion Study. Never thought how to draw an explosion until I started to draw my first one :-).

This is for a project but I really liked how the eye turned out and am deciding to post it because why not. I haven’t done it in a while.

This was my first try using paint pens. Played around with shapes to get used to the texture of the paint and how it feels to use the pens. Done in a watercolour sketchbook.

This critter's technically unnamed, so if you have any suggestions please comment them, I do like feedback sometimes lol. The scene is set on an eco-planet, somewhat like a zoo but more future tech-y. The ring in the sky is a sort of shield against any stray space rocks as shown. Hope you like it. (older drawing, made with Krita, all my drawings so far were from Krita actually)

This was my very first attempt at the grid. I restarted drawing about October or November of 2020. I was watching something on YouTube and a video came up about a street artist who uses the grid method when scaling up their artwork for the sides of buildings. It got me thinking ... and drawing ... and learning. Its so much fun to watch something slowly come to life from the paper. This was done in a sketchbook. After that I went and got a 9 x 12 inch Strathmore drawing pad - series 300. I have researched paper and I found a great deal on the Strathmore Series 500 roll. 40 inches (or something) by 8 yards! I can't wait to see how the projects improve when the quality of the paper increases. I am currently working on a gift for a friend. Its a drawing of their baby in a little piggy outfit. Unfortunately - I won't post it because its a picture of someone's baby ( I don't have permission - yet) ... but I am super happy with it so far!

I really enjoyed drawing this. This is where I really explored using my kneadable eraser to create texture in the skin. I still learning how to draw hair.
