Architecture of the Day

Watercolour on 4x4 cm of watercolour paper.

Just experimenting with different styles. This was done in pen and ink with a black paint pen for the thick lines.

Practicing with tons and shadows.

Not a whole lot to discuss here except that it took me FRIGGIN FOREVER to get it at least THIS accurate. It is crazy how hard your brain wants to put everything in the wrong place first and then you have to ..correct it? I don't know if I am making any sense lol.

Crosshatching and stippling practice with a ink dip pen. Requires immense patience.

Pink tulips on toned tan sketch paper. This was my first time burnishing. I used the toned tan paper so that I could better see the effects of burnishing with a white pencil. I used Prismacolor soft core pencils.
