Just started learning to draw eyes. Was wondering if I could get some tips for anime manga style which I could later try to animate with. Plus how are my names and if you can think of better ones pls tell me thx.

Missed the Ice Cream Flavor Contest, but had to do it...

Fifth Sorrowful Mystery: The crucifixion. I made the water and blood appear sorta as when Jesus appeared in the Divine Mercy devotion. Indeed a great act of mercy, his head is leaning towards the Good Thief, St. Dismas, to show his mecy towards him, the other thief refused (Gesmas). We also have St. John the Apostle, St. Mary Magdeline, Our Blessed Mother and St. Longinus, the roman soldier who pierced Jesus' heart with the Holy Lance. St. Longinus was healed spiritually the water and blood that poured forth by this act and believed, proclaiming Jesus to truly be the Son of God. "And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. And Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do' ...It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun's light failed; and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit!' And having said this he breathed his last" (Lk 23:33-46). I've never been much of a cat person but I have to say that Akita helped me to appreciate cats. She is a great hunter and with take out pesky mice and she doesn't chew electronic wires. She's very nice and likes to come up to me when I go outside. But she isn't too invasive and she isn't annoying at all. She stays outside for the most part as well so the monastery doesn't smell like cat. :P I think this is probably my first drawing of a cat, I just sketched her real quick and added her eye color, she kinda looks like an artic cat like this, well she is pretty resistant to cold, lol (her normal colors are brown/black/orange/white).

This is one of the first digital art peices I have done that I actually like. I have never attempted to draw the hair in braids so my digital art isn't always bad. This time, again, two combinations. I believe the hues are very nice and calming. I used yellow ochre as the yellow color (PY 43, PY 1). On the upper part, the cobalt blue (PB 28) is used, on the lower part - it's ultramarine (PB 29).

It’s winter, ice forms and birds go ice skating.

Beaten mention through words that of a dark age reveal vines that bleed into the hearts of many. To present your reflective waves, to be ridiculed by voices lacking the complete understanding. In thoughts, a depression emerges.

The inspiration for this collection came from a conversation I had with the Founder and Executive Director of the Underprivileged And Underserved Foundation (UAUF), George Goodwine. While discussing race and whether or not every opportunity was fair based upon someone’s familial structure or “starting line,” I was asked the following questions. How does someone overcome these hurdles? How can the playing field be leveled to make things fairer, when others may only have 50 hurdles to overcome in the same competition? My response was simple. “The person in front of 150 hurdles has two choices. They can either get discouraged before they begin, or start jumping. In the midst of the race they might get tired, unsure, or discouraged, but if they press on to the finish line they may become more physically fit than the person who jumps over 50.” I used to dance ballet and at the time, there were a lot of hurdles I had to overcome solely based upon inconveniences that came with being raised in low-income, single parent home. Above are pencil sketches and sharpie drawings that I have drawn from actual photos. I plan on making these images my own by adding more abstraction and vibrant color to them. Aquella noche, al sentarse a la mesa ante la mirada de sus padres, Romualdito se sentía anonadado. Su padre le había dicho muchas veces que un pajarito verde le contaba al oído todo lo que él hacía. Era, pues, indudable que el pajarito verde le había contado su delito. Sin embargo Romualdito tomó su sopa, con las narices metidas en el plato, sin que ocurriera novedad alguna. Sus padres, como siempre, hablaban de cosas incomprensibles… Llegó el segundo plato, y lo mismo. Su madre le preguntó con indiferencia: -¿Te pasa algo Romualdito? Romualdito levantó los ojos y dijo con aplomo -No me pasa nada, mamá. No bien dijo esto tembló pensando lo que iba a ocurrir. ¡Había dicho que no pasaba nada, y había fumado! La mirada de su padre, que según este afirmaba, leía en el interior de su hijo, iba a descubrir su mentira. El fraile que se lleva a los niños iba a aparecer y lo iban a encerrar en el cuarto de las ratas. Aguardó un instante angustioso. Nada. El silencio, turbado por el chocar de los platos y los tenedores… Al llegar el tercer plato, don Rotulado dio un golpe en la mesa. Romualdito se estremeció. Pero era que don Romualdo opinaba que la salsa del pescado tenía poco perejil… Así, poco a poco, Romualdito fue serenándose y adquiriendo confianza sí mismo. Al llegar a los postres, miraba ya a sus padres frente a frente y sonreía. La comida había transcurrido con la cotidiana vulgaridad. No cabía duda: El mozo de cuadra tenía razón. Aquella distinción de “detrás” y de “delante” era toda una ciencia maravillosa, quizá toda la ciencita de la vida, y Romualdito, con la mirada lejana y sonriente, descubría horizontes nuevos e insospechados. Cuando terminó según el precepto de su buena educación, Romualdito se levantó, dio un beso a su padre y a su madre. Dijo ”Buenas noches”, en inglés, y se marchó.
