A pencil and watercolour study, inspired by Scott Christian Sava's "60 days of studying the masters" on Youtube. This was intimidating from start to finish, by far the most complex drawing I've ever done! It took me almost a week to get the drawing right, but the painting was done in a day. In between were many days of feeling overwhelmed, lost, and then afraid of messing it up. But I got there in the end and I think I pushed myself to a new skill and confidence level. Good thing too, I've got 58 more studies to do!

Doodling in a sketchbook is very stress-relieving and calming. I recommend it to everyone :) You don't need any artistic skills. All you need is paper and a pen :) Or a sketchbook and a fountain pen with purple ink, as in my case.

This prequel, it is revealed that the Cârța Monastery was built somewhere in Romania by a duke centuries ago. Becoming obsessed with dark magic and Satanism, the Duke attempts to summon a demonic force from the catacombs only to be killed by the members of the Vatican who then sealed the rift with the Blood of Christ. Hundreds of years later, the monastery was bombed heavily during the events of World War II, releasing the same evil spirit from its imprisonment. The demon had since taken the form of a nun as a means of blending with the other nuns as well as to mock their faith. Throughout the years, nuns continuously prayed in communion to combat the evil, but in vain as the demonic entity walked freely around the monastery all nights, in the form of a nun to mock their faith. In 1952, Valak had slain several of the nuns, leaving only two survivors. Sister Victoria, with a key in hand, commits suicide in order to prevent Valak from claiming her as a host. Sometime after her death, the Vatican tasks Burke and Sister Irene to investigate. Valak manipulates the characters throughout the film ranging from creating mass illusions with the ghosts of the slain nuns to weaken Sister Irene and tormenting Father Burke by taking the form of a young boy who had died from a botched exorcism at his hands. Valak then buries Father Burke alive before luring Sister Irene to become possessed. When the catacombs began to flood, Valak tries to strangle Sister Irene to death. While inspecting her for any vital signs, Sister Irene spits the Blood of Christ onto Valak, burning it severely. The rift is then resealed. However, this would prove to not be the end of the Demon Nun as when the group was leaving, Frenchie, a French Canadian otherwise known as Maurice is revealed to have an inverse cross branded on the back of his neck. This segues to the original Conjuring film during a lesson the Warrens were giving about demonic possession. Another OC redesign along with a new name,she still looks somewhat like her old design except now she has short hair instead of poofy long hair,green eyes,different horns,two lower fangs instead of one and lastly the sharp horns on each side of her face.she also doesn't have a hourglass body shape anymore (I don't want two female characters having the same body type)She is a good friend of Tenebris,they often challenge each other and have fights to see which who is stronger than each other,she is athletic,loud mouthed and mischevious and she is skilled in flying unlike Tenebris.

This came about from a doodle. Doodling is a combination of skilled scribbling, mindless direction & abstract tracing. Doodling [For Me] is not sketching someone's portrait or rendering a photo. It's freely skating w a pencil or pen along a drawing surface & searching for discoveries & different unusual paths that some how result in some lovely surprises. So here ye go. Soluto is Princess Neera Veera's archnemesis,just like how Qasaherim is Elvarelyn's archnemesis.He is a fire demon warlord who has an army of his own to destroy anything and anyone on his path mostly weaker demons since he cannot fight stronger,more dangerous demons because that would result in not only his armys elimination but his.He is not terrifying,vile or deadly like a lot of demon warlords because 1.he be defeated easily and 2.he is moody and skittish and 3.he has only killed a few demons.Snidecious and him are very alike,even though snide doesn't want anything to do with him.Soluto Ignis literally means fire warlord in Latin thus why I named him as such.He was difficult to color since I have never colored fire digitally I even tried to search for character speedpaints similar to Soluto's design to get an idea on how to color him but nothing helped however what did help me was looking for similar character designs on google images and getting not only an idea how I colored him but inspiration too.

Inktober 2020, Day 13: "Dune". After pondering for a while, whether I should come up with something surprising, I decided to go with what for me is the obvious association, the sci-fi book. I based it on this illustration of a sandworm (https://dune.fandom.com/wiki/Sandworm?file=Dune-sandworm.jpg) by Nathan Rosario. It’s not meant to promote the now postponed new movie, but rather based on the books by Frank Herbert, which I loved as a teenager. Brushpens and posca markers on coloured A4, this time with an acrylic underpainting (falling back on my painterly ways). “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

I created this for fun using an app called ProCreate on my iPhone. The character is called Fred Rock and he enjoys taking his shredding skills on all kinds of adventures.

I loved this design! I been re-watching Samurai Jack, in backwards order from season 4 to 1 . they needed to use this design more, but alas, they are only in one episode, but here we are, enjoy! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone, it is one of the greatest animated masterpieces of American cartoons!

Trying to improve my drawing skills. I like the look of classical style drawings on colored paper.

Knights, the strongest faction in Nornwan. Known for their much vaunted military might. Without the sacrifices and bravery of the Knights, the lands would be overrun with Dragons, or bandits, or some other horrid force of darkness. The bastion of hope, despite all disagreements they have had with the Church and Wixard Factions.

Wanted to further push how realistic I can achieve with water colour. I don’t think my skill is there yet, so I just let the water colour did it’s thing. And tried to control it less, moved away from adding even more detail.

This is the first and only portrait I've done of my daughter [Rae] when I decided to get back into drawing and start trying portraits 2 yrs ago. I've worked on other portraits since and my skills are improving however this is still one of my favs

Part of a personal project I'm working on right now, to experiment with new art styles and practice lettering skills by drawing animals. The color palette and symmetrical motifs in this one were inspired by the boats on Lake Xochimilco in Mexico, which is the last remaining place wild axolotls live.

Killing time on the plane by drawing a lot of puppies.

A whimsical illustration of a large horn-whale creature with fangs, an anchor tattoo on his fin, and a tattoo of how many ships he has sunk on his back, with a whale rider perched on its back, is surrounded by gentle waves. The contrast between the massive creature and the tiny rider suggests a playful narrative. The muted colors and simple lines create a charming and imaginative scene.

“You saved me, my heroine!” For a guy who almost got eaten, he looked way too pleased. “That’s worthy of, well, an award, you know!” He tapped his split lip thoughtfully, lying on the ground as if nothing had happened. “Ah, Zero Year may be over, but I think it’s only fair for me to name a month after you. What do you say?” His impractical coat was all messed up, his hat laying a little to the side, just as dirty and caked with snow. “It’s january, isn’t it? It’s Amberary now! Maybe not for all of Gotham, but for me for sure.” He grinned. What the hell is he saying? Why bringing up those old words? Ridiculous. Amber failed to hold back surprise in her eyes, but she almost managed to stop herself from smiling in time. Almost. He noticed. “… Get up.” --------------------------- Long story short: Amber saved Ed from predators, and he decided to be extra with his flirting. I remembered Edward's words from “Zero Year” about naming months after gothamites heroes and an idea came to me… This scene will definitely be in a fanfic, for which I have an underdeveloped idea, and which I will definitely not write. %) In any case, this is roughly how I imagine ZY!Eddie flirting, in addition to all the other headcanons. My vision of him is too different from ​​how most of the fandom sees him . xD I’m trying to jump above my head again, not having the skill in background, clothes, drapery, and full body, especially since I almost never drew two interacting characters. My most ambitious work so far. But I’m happy!
