Something I drew for Halloween upon request from followers on social media. I really wanted to mimic that uneasy otherworldly tone the film had, but I don't think I pulled it off very well.
Imagine trading your soft bed for a deflating mattress.
Imagine food cooked under ash, a fire that smokes more than it warms.
Imagine waking at dawn with stiff muscles, yet finding yourself strangely alive.
This sketch is not just about tents, cars, and campfires.
It is about the in-between—where inconvenience and beauty wrestle, and something deeper sneaks in.
Camping reminds me: comfort is overrated, but presence is priceless.
Making original characters is fun. This outfit was made up of weathered clothing and recycled material for a nuclear apocalypse and dangerous desert life. It doesn't look like it'll fit hot climates tho
Thank you for checking my work out. This work is Inspired by an instinct to survive and strive to conquer all obstacles that hold me back in life, especially from my Art. This is pencil drawing on paper then pen work then some editing using android app.
We were having a thunder storm, so I figured I’d do a sketch waiting for my markers to get here. I ended up getting carried away and inking it right away. I put a few layers of fixatif on it, and I'm hoping that'll stop the paint/ink from bleeding too much when I apply the markers.
Jury Duty, June 2013
Fifty of us sat in that room, each one staring at a phone or scribbling in a notebook, killing time. The lawyers asked their questions, picking us off one by one like a slow game of dodgeball. I wasn’t chosen, so I drew instead—earbuds, slouched shoulders, the hum of waiting caught in a few quick lines.
I made up the color but I made her while working on my sona for myself, I like her design a lot I should've used a reference her torso is a little short idk. I thought of writing an anthology series for her.
