Whenever i hear the word 'graphic' on the news, my mind goes to art rather than the abrupt visual they feel needs a warning [Which i guess is a courtesy for some folks who just might not be able to handle such a site & prefer to look away.] Well, luckily, I'm not Pollyanna about this... As a creative, it is nearly impossible to hear that word 'graphic' & not flex my creative muscle & treat it w an alternative visual thot... 24/6! [I take Sundays off.] I was never fortunate enuf to attend college or to study graphic arts. But I actually think that this is a skill & craft of immense talent. To create aesthetic colors & shapes & beauty & what seems like using the most simplistic of techniques yet w the greatest of impact is simply mesmerizing to me. Why that color? Why that shape? & yet... it works!!!! So here is my attempt to simulate such a masterful profession but w a bit of humor.
My first venture into artist grade colouring pencils - and I'm smitten! I never thought I could achieve such boldness and blendability with them! I'm still getting used to them and will think about choosing smoother paper with less tooth next time. The texture and weight was more for the water-based gouache along with alcohol inks (which are very unforgiving to even primed heavy paper!). Apologies for the unevenness of lighting between the 2 sides of paper; will correct that when I'm making proper image files.
The logo is for a medical supplies company. I hope you like it. The name of the company is written in English and Arabic at the same time. You can read it from left to right in English, and from right to left in Arabic. I will leave it to you to guess the name of the company. Besides, I also hope that you can find the word in Arabic. I am so excited to see your comments.
Another icon or logo of Jester's restaurant, "Ringmaster's Pizza Hall". This one is more sinister, and looks more like a FNaF teaser, especially for Sister Location. Though the Altitone animatronics were based off of the funtime's designs, the resemblance between Jester and Ennard is completely coincidental --- but I've kind of embraced it now. Kind of the icon or logo of Jester's restaurant, "Ringmaster's Pizza Hall". Before it was known as such, we called it "Jester's Mini Jamboree". If you didn't know, Jester has a line of steel dividing his bottom left and bottom right faceplate, which forms one mouth. So, in order to eat (even though Jester CAN'T eat, because he's a robot), he'd need to open those faceplates so he can fit food through the mouth. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
Stingray is an arrogant, slippery prodigy, part of Frostbite's Renegade unit. His power or specialty is his barbed tail drenched in either a tranquilizer or the Renegades' neutralizing agent, Agent N, which removes a prodigy's ability - permanently.
I really,really hate having an art block because most of the times you have several drawing ideas,only to have trouble choosing one and not drawing anything at all!The strawberry one has no face because it was either ripped out or eaten.I originally wanted to draw four Gucci logos with different fruits,but since having an art block ruined it,I made this.I might take a break from drawing for,I don't know,10,000 years or so.
