Seeing as how it's both "Mario Day" and Dr.Seuss's birthday, I drew something really random. Super Mario and the Cat and the Hat are there, but are just looking at the dog with the coin.
Take note that the "chalice" that had the eye pop out isn't Ms.Chalice. And the giant eyeball's Mugman, cause it freaked him out badly. Cont. to work on BnW illustrations, I wanted to focus on making the reflections have a realistic quality. I struggle with clouds, but I felt I was most refined here. My BnW's seem to have so much more life and expression than my paintings. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
A special commission for a Christmas present, drawn on A3 medium cartridge using 0.03, 0.05 and 0.1 fine liners. This was a bit different for me but I loved it so much! Took about 28 hours in total.
I love cephalopods...mainly octopi
In my opinion, people shouldn't eat cephalopods,they are extremely intelligent they can also feel emotional pain as well.
