Daughter of the Moon: An Artsy Drawing by Brianna Eisman is an ink drawing with painting overlay of a woman with the face of a moon. This surreal portrait has an ethereal feeling of loneliness and mystery.

This is a graphite pencil drawing of a conch shell I found on the beach in Florida. I used this sketch as a base for a intaglio print I made. The sketch features the cool textures and forms of the shell in a harsh contrasting light.

The idea is to show a figure crossing over two ` scripts’ with a bilingual suggestion. By standing in between worlds, we see opposing viewpoints. Many artists have incorporated typography as symbols in their paintings since the 60s, but no one has attempted to approach lines in this `written’ manner. How different it is are the two writing styles of the East and the West; one with angular lines while the other in a smooth flow! This work juxtaposes the symbolism of cultures – script. At the same time, it questions the need to grasp the full meaning of the script to appreciate the aesthetic flow of calligraphic lines.

The above anime portrait is of my mentor from the ADPList Design community. I illustrated this to show my sign of respect as she is dedicated towards her mentee's well-being.

Those who lie, cheat, steal, and abuse alcohol and drugs lose all dignity; those who are honest, work hard, and respect themselves and others gain it. Such person can walk with their heads held high. Losing one's wealth is nothing nothing compared with losing one's dignity. The whole measure of excellence is moderation. We can maintain strong morals, high standards, and a great respect and honesty. Truth cannot be buried; truth can set us free. Truth elevates our spirit, softens our souls. Truth is the mother of virtue. Our pride and our shame turn us into liars. We must resist and work hard to maintain our dignity, or regain it once it's been lost. We owe it to ourselves to have happy life, enriched with dignity, respect and peace of mind. We should remember that it means nothing to live without wealth; it means everything to live with dignity. Nobility shows from a distance. It is not offensive to deprive ourselves of wealth; it is offensive to lose our dignity.

This sketch is supposed to symbolise the struggle we all have to accept our responsibilities at the cost of our own well-being. It's easy to ignore our problems when there are so many forms of escapism.

Another beautiful illustration for today! This is someone playing near the shore on a windy day with some waves and rocky style beaches. The weather seems odd to be out and about outside and this woman keeps her balance courageously against the streams of cold, while her hat is covering her face only because of the stormy weather, she still seems to know what she is doing while she seems to be enjoying this! Another little story for today with another scenery!

Daily pen and ink sketch

Something I’ve been working on for fun, a project from illustrator Victor Beuren’s Domestika class “Search-And-Find Illustration in Procreate”. One of the rare Singapore-inspired artworks I’ve done, and I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many human beings in one piece… but challenge accepted!!!

It's a second attempt at drawing a landscape with a water element. I'm not focusing on many details by drawing water. Creating a lot of blurry shapes and lines gives a great reflection effect.

Long story short:He is a ghost magician even though ghosts have magical powers themselves ex telekinesis teleportation invisibility shape shifting.therefore it would be pointless to be a magician however the talking book his father gave him gives him extraordinary powers never seen before .he becomes one to ultimately make people happy.I don't have an outfit for him yet but it has rainbows and stars.he doesn't wield a wand because he uses his hands.
