Apparently February 15 is THE day for Gumdrops

When you have new markers, but don't know what to draw - color your old doodles :D

my valentine‘s day eye artwork!

Did you know that February 8, National Kite Flying Day? You'd think it would be in warmer weather. Go to my profile for more info on my sandwich bags.

Illustration of flowers sitting atop a body of water.

It’s winter, ice forms and birds go ice skating.

Markers and colored pencils.

My first ever character made by some lesson. Hope to do more of such study.

Happy Groundhog Day

Doodle of my favourite kind of breakfast. It's actually eggs benedict, but in one of my favourite bars it called "Hemingway's eggs" :D

Inspired by the national thing of the day, today is Puzzle Day. Part of the sandwich bag art I started in 2008 when I began drawing on my kids sandwich bags.

Copic marker doodle from last year's Inktober challenge.

This is a little cartoon I doodled one day. I have it on some of my stuff on Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle, and Threadless, though it doesn't fit well on everything. If you'd like to see it, here's the link that will lead you to all those sites: https://linktr.ee/okhismakingart

Resonance interaction between the being and the environment. ink-pen drawing two page concept size A3 by Arturs Afanasjevs 2013

Observations from an expedition to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, which features an incredible paleontology hall. I brought with me a pad of sticky notes, a couple Micron plastic nib pens, a set of Copic Markers, my fanny pack, and some headphones. Prehistoric life has been an infatuation of mine since childhood, and there is something very humbling about drawing in the shadows of these fallen giants.

An incorrectly oriented version of "Bees at Work in Blue," a mixed media drawing done with pens, markers, and watercolors. It is available (in the correct orientation) on products on Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle, and Threadless.
