It's quite hard to correlate a situation with a word, but this is how flowing and plastic waste ended up looking like. How much plastic waste do I produce in a day? In a week? How about a year? Nature is full of plastic waste and is overflowing everywhere. In the rivers, seas and oceans... Next time they ask you at the supermarket if you need a plastic bag, think again...

Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. This drawing was inspired of the trip my friends and i took to Canyamel. It is a beautiful place in Mallorca. I found a dress on the market that i reaally love now and maybe this inspired me to draw a dress? aand my friends and i created some bracelets, ankle bracelets and necklaces and i aabsolutly love to do that with them. I really wanted to put two of them in my drawing. For reference i used a picture from the amazing @faestock thank you so much for reading and wish you a lovely dayy! :))
Jean-Paul Sartre (1905–1980)
By the 1950s, too much work on too little sleep—with too much wine and cigarettes—had left Sartre exhausted and on the verge of collapse. Rather than slow down, however, he turned to Corydrane, a mix of amphetamine and aspirin then fashionable among Parisian students, intellectuals, and artists (and legal in France until 1971, when it was declared toxic and taken off the market). The prescribed dose was one or two tablets in the morning and at noon. Sartre took twenty a day, beginning with his morning coffee and slowly chewing one pill after another as he worked. For each tablet, he could produce a page or two of his second major philosophical work, The Critique of Dialectical Reason.
The biographer Annie Cohen-Solal reports, “His diet over a period of twenty-four hours included two packs of cigarettes and several pipes stuffed with black tobacco, more than a quart of alcohol—wine, beer, vodka, whisky, and so on—two hundred milligrams of amphetamines, fifteen grams of aspirin, several grams of barbiturates, plus coffee, tea, rich meals.”

Class assignment: draw a crowd with layers and overlapping. I took this class because it is my artist heart's desire to capture people in real life action. We did learn a technique for that, but we did it from video. It was so stressful, and I'm considering practicing that 10 min a day for Lent. This one was a compilation from photos my teacher provided. What are your tips for capturing people in action? For me, the challenge was deciding what the action was. I kept changing the action as I saw it because it is SO FAST. I felt like I couldn't "see" fast enough.
Oils on canvass. This is Charlie. He's the parrot owned by the supermarket where my husband used to work. The owner of the shop brought him in to keep him from getting bored and pulling his feathers out. He has a large cage at the entrance which he often escapes from, and can be found hopping from trolley to trolley on the handles, to amuse himself. He's usually found by a staff member who brings him back. A real character lol
