I can't believe October is already here, and it's startling how fast time is moving. I shouldn't be up this late, but I wanted to make some art, especially given how today has been (8-3:15 'in school,' 3:15-10pm doing homework). The honest answer is I just feel down. I can usually phrase things better but my brain is fried. Everything is non-stop, the time I have to breathe seems to get shorter. Anyway, it's 11pm, I should get to bed.
Inktober piece 1, another 3am finish so a bit late, but I am traveling this month so may not be able to put out 1 everyday. I will try my best to get some practice in.
Man oh man, it's been a week. The chaos is strong with this one. It was really fun to draw this, there's something so calming about shading with graphite; it felt like the only time I was present this week. But hey, I suppose that's why art is here. As a side note, thank you so much for 70 followers! It's truly incredible to part of an amazing community of artists, and I genuinely appreciate everyone's support and feedback. This was a commission for a Magic The Gathering Goblin token. A goblin riding a squirrel, wielding a spoon and wearing a bucket for a helmet. He may or may not actually be dunk in a tavern getting a bit too into a story he is telling.
Fun with gouache! While I was painting this, I learned that "scumble"/"scumbling" are words used to describe the action of dry brush painting, so my detective's name is Scumbles.

19 years old yet I still have to do my best to become a professional artist and well...successful animator one day to release about 6 animated series!i finally made a birthday drawing for myself!and a scrumptious cake too! honestly I don't feel like Im 19 but thank goodness I had a fun time!and a delicious dinner!
I loved this design! I been re-watching Samurai Jack, in backwards order from season 4 to 1 . they needed to use this design more, but alas, they are only in one episode, but here we are, enjoy! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone, it is one of the greatest animated masterpieces of American cartoons!
This started off as a black ink drawing, but after scanning into my computer, I played around in Pixelmator to add the background and some effects to achieve the final result. This was going to be my first attempt at either Inktober ot Artober. Many thanks for looking !
