A far cry from how I usually draw. The lineart is messy and I colored sloppily, with the watercolor brush. This guy is the first out of three paint moster generations --- yes, this guy is made of white paint. The mahogany lines aren't blood, but rather mahogany paint. I may or may not post the later generations of Geoff (the name of three paint mosters, all related, all from different generations). Drawn with FIreAlpaca.

This painting was done for my sister. She loves dolphins, and she asked me when I would paint a picture for her. When I considered doing this painting, I thought about how I could design an illustration that would use the names of fish to teach her the attributes of Jesus being the Son of God and Savior of the world. The names of the fish who reveal something about Jesus’s attributes are labeled in red, just as in a red-letter edition Bible, the words spoken by Jesus are printed in red. The names of the fish whose labels are blue are different breeds of angelfish. Three dolphins represent the trinity of God—the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. The silhouette of the three men on crosses represent the price Jesus paid on the cross to buy man out of slavery of sin and deliver man from being cast into the eternal lake of fire. The black-and-white fish is called a sheep head. John the Baptist called Jesus the lamb of God, who would take away the sins of the world. The reddish-orange fish is called a flaming angel. John said that he baptized people with water to call themselves back to God and to repent for their sins. He said that Jesus would baptize with fire the person called the Holy Spirit. The gold-yellow fish is called the shepherd angel. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to be the Good Shepherd because He takes care of His followers as a sheep herder would take care His sheep. He provides for their needs and protects them from danger. The brown fish with the fanned-out fins is called a lionfish. The Bible call Jesus the lion of Judea. Jesus first came to the Earth to deliver mankind from sin by offering His life to pay for our sin. The second time He comes, He will come to set up His earthly kingdom and rule over all the nations for a thousand years. The small fish with a scarlet head is called a king demoiselle fish. Jesus will have all authority to rule over all the nations given to Him from God the Father. 48 49 SALVATION The large orange fish with the green fins is call a rainbow parrot. The rainbow represents a covenant between man and God. Just as God put a rainbow in the sky once the great flood ended to remind man of God’s promise not to destroy the world by flood again. So, do we have a covenant through the blood of Jesus that if man will accept the terms to be delivered from sin, its eternal punishment, and turn from pursuing a rebellious life toward God, God will give them eternal life. The sleek brown-and-white fish is called a schoolmaster. Jesus spent the last three years of His life teaching about who God is, what heaven is like, what hell is like, what sin is, and how it keeps man separated from God. What is God’s plan to redeem man from sin? He taught how man should live to be pleasing in God’s sight. (October 28, 2017)

Experimenting with figures

Another icon or logo of Jester's restaurant, "Ringmaster's Pizza Hall". This one is more sinister, and looks more like a FNaF teaser, especially for Sister Location. Though the Altitone animatronics were based off of the funtime's designs, the resemblance between Jester and Ennard is completely coincidental --- but I've kind of embraced it now. An animatronic especially designed for a particular individual to climb into it, only for them to get impaled by a variety of steel bits. However, this particular individual was never captured, for their execution was performed only several days after the finishing of this product... so it sits, motionless, in the unused areas of Ringmaster's Pizza Hall. Some endoskeletons I made a while back. The one on the left is spring-safe, which means it can be openly used as a costume. The one on the right is not spring-safe, and has a much higher chance of springlock failure. If you aren't familiar with the concept, springlock failure is basically where, while wearing a suit such as one of these (which are typically inside of mascot suits), the metal parts and such which pull in while a human wears it jolt back into position (which are there so they can operate on stage without a human in them) and dig themselves into your flesh. This normally kills the person inside the suit. Don't worry, though! Not like this is likely to happen. You usually have a 50% chance or higher to live... or less. ;) Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Imagine a slime from an RPG game, like from Terraria or Dragon Quest. This little guy is like one of them --- but he's colored like neapolitan ice cream! He's cold, too --- but certainly not as tasty. It even has a rolled wafer in its back --- a useful weapon to fend off against foes! These guys want to be on your side, and will try to protect you.

Black Men matters

I figured it'd be a while until I draw (in full detail) ALL of the Altitone band members, so I made each one a sprite. Their names are (from left to right): (The first one is a base), Elizabeth the hot pink cat, Preistor the sky blue rabbit, Altor the golden bear, Bruce the green mouse, Lexibo the violet elephant, Mary the short red fox, Dexter the blue-gray Racoon DJ, and the three cheerleaders: Rosette the crimson mouse, Oopsie the russet fox, and Pastelle the cotton candy short-eared rabbit. On the very bottom are the instruments. In order, they are Elizabeth's mic, Preistor's guitar, Altor's drum set, Bruce's mic, Lexibo's piano, Mary's oil drum (not an instrument, but Mary hides her bottom half in the oil drum, sort of like Looney Bird from The Rock-afire Explosion (which is why she has no legs)), and Dexter's DJ board. The last three are cheerleaders, and their hands have been replaced with cheerleading pom poms. On stage left, we have Dexter and Mary. On the center stage, we have Preistor, Altor, Lexibo, Elizabeth, and Bruce. On stage right is Rosette, Oopsie, and Pastelle. Made with Piskel. Sketching at the Academy (California Academy of Science) with my five year old. This was so fun. There was so much movement that he actually focused on his own sketchbook for long enough for me to get one in. Usually, he's done by the time I put the clips on my book! The Academy and all museums are closed again with SF preemptively joining the rest of the state in the extended stay at home order this past Sunday 12/6/2020. Grateful we got to go several times while it was open.
