Its been a while. Here is a new one that I have been working on for a few days. Its my first attempt at using graphite powder for the black background. I used a Lyra 9B Graphite Crayon and ground it down myself into powder. Worked really well. I also purchased a Strathmore Series 500 mixed media roll. The amount of high quality paper for the price - it can't be beat. I am excited with this drawing!

Taken from the pokemon movie this was a scene I felt had a lot of emotion but I tried to make it my own with watercolour.

This is a bit of mixed media here. I used Acrylic paints and Arteza colored pencils. This was my first attempt on trying to be kind of realistic, I think it turned out pretty decent. I love the Blade Runner films and the new one had such awesome weird lighting that I had to draw Luv at least once. So here is the crazy psychotic android. Done with a mix of hard and soft pastel.

This has multiple meanings behind it. All of them are pretty dark. (Btw the glare is from the plastic bag I put on it)

I created him for the same universe as Guardian. I have a vague backstory for both in mind, maybe I'll write it down one day. Sketch done in pencil, colored digitally.

I rarely do pieces with a full color background, landscapes and all. But I really enjoyed doing this piece. It shows a place and character from my novel project "The Hidden Kingdoms". Drawn in pencil, then scanned and colored digitally.
