I am a developer, and coding is my world. But when it comes to, say, the "life" part of life skills? Not so much. After a grueling 72-hour coding marathon, fueled by nothing but caffeine and questionable decisions, I made a mistake I now regret on a cosmic level: I spilled coffee on my external hard drive, the very drive that stored access to my digital wallet, holding a significant sum. Every morning when I can I go and sketch.

Just something random I did this morning. It started as a pencil sketch that I outlined. It’s colored in Caliart markers.

I'm actually quite happy with this piece, it feels very quiet and serene.

Warm and cool winds mixing and blowing over sand ridges. A memory from living on the edge of a desert in Western Australia. Sometimes, walking the early morning the air is still cool in the shade of the trees, but the moment you step out into the sun, it is already hot.

Yay! It's my Birthday! (Toon Link Windwaker style!). Hard to believe I'm 35 already :o (Oct. 29, 1986). All the seminarians sang happy birthday to me in english when I got my morning coffee. heh. This was a really fun piece I did a while back for the Florasona challenge that was going around. I used a few different plants as inspiration. Ashwood blossoms/berries, calla lilies, tulips and morning glories.
