I've been seeing lots of new bird species around my neighbourhood, like robins and magpies!
I like to think this bird is watching me from the sea of uncertainty, and looking at all the things I will create in the future and secretly telling me to go on, without me knowing how they will turn out. And strangely, that is some kind of motivation for me. : .
I made myself some motivational stickers to (hopefully) help with the CONSTANT negative self-talk that seems to be an innate part of my creative practice
It's my third illustration with a lantern theme.
I had doubts while drawing this illustration. I changed the concept a few times. And I'm not sure if I got the expected effect.
But I'm not afraid to share it and say: "this illustration could be better."
It gives me the motivation to work harder.
It gives me reasons to push myself forward.
Have a creative weekend!
There's time when you scroll any-social-media-feeds and you found out a quote that motivate you. So, this is on of them that i found. A motivational quote from strong woman Jessica Lanyadoo
#blackcappedchickadee Facts
A bird almost universally considered “cute” thanks to its oversized round head, tiny body, and curiosity about everything, including humans. The chickadee’s black cap and bib; white cheeks; gray back, wings, and tail; and whitish underside with buffy sides are distinctive. Its habit of investigating people and everything else in its home territory, and quickness to discover bird feeders, make it one of the first birds most people learn. My apologies for older works, just going through old notebooks and wanted to share this
For all of you just getting started out there, or struggling with motivation, this is a side by side comparison of drawings about 18 months apart, 1 drawing a day. It may not feel like it, but every bit of practice you get a little bit better. Keep it up!
Lush green leaves form a vibrant background, setting a calming tone with the motivational phrase "Help Yourself" in the center. The contrast between the text and the foliage captures attention and invites reflection.
I wanted to do a piece that turns an insult into something more motivational. For context, to be called a strawberry is associated with being weak and sensitive, as strawberries are soft and easily bruised.
