This is an exterior white paint on an old tarp with a treated lumber frame painting using a photograph taken of my Dad in the Summer of 1979. Dad and I were on the porch playing our guitars while a girl I was dating snapped some photos. I get a sense of Dad's calmness whenever I look at the photo, and now, this painting.
In my worldbuilding imps are silly monsters who love having fun,they are the weakest demons to live despite having super super strength.imps come in all shapes,colors and sizes.an imp can have 2 legs or 4 legs,3 eyes or 5 eyes,horns or hornless wings or no wings.imps rarely kill and if they do then it's for self defense, most end up being killed by stronger demons.imps live in groups like a family and are rarely alone.when imps go to the mortal world,they torment and trick people,imps love to be around children since they are playful.imps torture people and find torture to be amusing and better than killing (imps never kill people)if an imp kills an person they are shunned and regarded to be too dangerous to be around other imps
A digital drawing I made with my fingers to challenge myself ^^ I know a lot of digital artists use their fingers but I’m used to drawing with a stylus or some kind of pen in general XD. I’ve ironically never been good with finger painting.

This is an artwork that took me some time to make. I never really knew when to stop adding details, I felt it wasn’t perfect no matter what I added, but here we are! This was done in Procreate.

I used to sketch in my car much more often. I'd go downtown and quick sketch people, scenes--whatever moved the spirit. With this sketch, I got the idea for a series...a what if ordinary moments in life were done in Picasso fashion. In this case, it was a Dad with his two kids. I never pursued the idea any further than a handful of quick sketches, but I wonder, what if I painted Dad with two kids Picasso style? It's still on my bucket list. What about you? Painted original (watercolor on watercolor canvas) about 15 years ago. Wasn't satisfied and so I put away forever. Except, not forever. Have started a project of revamping old paintings that were not quite right, and that now seem salvageable. This was the first. Worked on it for a few minutes a few days a week for a few months, never going too far. Goal was to improve not recreate. Kinda having fun with this new project. Artists tend to do this, take a new tact, find a new route.
Whenever I think of tags and/or labels for people, be it things like ‘gammons’ or ‘snowflakes’ et al, narrowing it down to a single person who represents that group is always running a fool’s errand in my opinion.
Close to a month ago, I had found out my design was selected for the Art Stop Program, and, yes, this is mainly what I've been working on since. I've never worked on a piece this large before, 72in x 24in, and I rarely make sketches of pieces before creating the final work. It's definitely a cool feeling to look at the finished board and see how the drawing actually came to life. (The Art Stop Program selects a handful of entered designs for the artists to create on a larger board, and these boards will then be inserted into bus stop benches around Niles, IL.) I can't wait to see the bench this will be in, and I'm so lucky I got to be part of the program.
just randomly thought of it and drew it,it doesn't like to be touched it also floats away whenever there's a disturbance (it hates loud noises,people in general)when there's danger it's true form is revealed (not cute or innocent looking anymore),scaring or possibly hurting whoever wanted to hurt this small monster thing in the first place.I might draw it again soon.

Whenever i hear the word 'graphic' on the news, my mind goes to art rather than the abrupt visual they feel needs a warning [Which i guess is a courtesy for some folks who just might not be able to handle such a site & prefer to look away.] Well, luckily, I'm not Pollyanna about this... As a creative, it is nearly impossible to hear that word 'graphic' & not flex my creative muscle & treat it w an alternative visual thot... 24/6! [I take Sundays off.] I was never fortunate enuf to attend college or to study graphic arts. But I actually think that this is a skill & craft of immense talent. To create aesthetic colors & shapes & beauty & what seems like using the most simplistic of techniques yet w the greatest of impact is simply mesmerizing to me. Why that color? Why that shape? & yet... it works!!!! So here is my attempt to simulate such a masterful profession but w a bit of humor.
