I saw this just sitting on a shelf in bookstore, snapped a pic and made a parody, I think the cover art looked nice, outside of that, I've never played it. LOL

Acrylic gouache on MDF, approx 4x6". Part of an experiment: what if I painted the inside of a picture frame (ie, the inside of the backing board)? Result: it actually works really well!

Hope starts when we give up hopelessness and embrace new. Don't ask yourself which of these last people you may be . Just ask yourself if you want a better world than this. This is was more of an experiment as I wanted to see what black ink would like on paper with an "aged" like background. I think it came out quite nicely but I also think that the black ink might seem a bit too bold. I'm not really sure.
I first bought some cheap soft pastels back in 2018 and did a couple of sketches. I bought a nice set of Rembrandt pastels a few months later — didn't use them. I bought some pastel pads, none if which seemed right. September 2020, I bought a couple more sets of bargain pastels and tried a couple of pieces — no good, still couldn't bring myself to use them. Jess bought me pastel pencils for Christmas — I was too scared to use them. I even bought a pad of Pastelmat which is supposed to be THE paper to use for pastel paintings in January. I was too scared to use that as well!
FINALLY, after a few unsuccessful attempts at working with watercolour (brush issues), I cast aside my fear and thought I'd mess around with pastels. Some time later, and this was the result. I've finally broken through my pastel fear-barrier.
I've got to say, I love soft pastels and I'm excited about doing more pieces in this medium.
April has truly started off on a high note: 3 days of warm weather (a rare occurrence in an early Chicago spring), I finally did double-backs to the floor at gymnastics, found out I won a few art contests, and I got my first COVID vaccine! It's nice to have things starting to work out, even if it is just temporarily.
My "Enchanted Portals" fan character Wilma (the wizard in blue) and my little witch girl Wilma and her ghost friend Spookers have a nice little night flight.
So, the shorter animatronics that I posted earlier were actually the second versions of those animatronics. I redrew them because of... how they looked, I guess. Their proportions were way off. This animatronic is the third version of one of the animatronics, Elizabeth. I was planning on making more of these guys, to update them all, but it takes hours to make these guys, because I also have to make the endoskeleton for them. So, right now, Advanced Elizabeth sits in Jester's workshop, where she'll be alone for as long as I don't make another advanced animatronic. Personally, I think these look a lot nicer, but the second versions (the ones I posted) have a certain charm to them. I'm also working on the right stage animatronics, the red fox and the DJ. One week on from Beltane Fire Festival 2025 and it stills feel surreal that’s it for another year, you know? It’ll be nice to get back to some semblance of normality/whatever… For now? Have a gar on me :-P :-)
An illustration copied from Dana Fox’s Watercolor with me book. I will probably be posting more of these in the future as I purchased a few of her books and they have nice sketches to copy from for practice. Done in pencil and watercolor.
Tried my Poscas on a sheet of toned tan paper in my sketchbook, and doodled up this cute rubber hose like bat character enjoying a nice Halloween night while being carried by 3 spooky/funny jack -0-lantern balloons.
I started messing about with line and wash. I really enjoyed the speed and looseness of working on this piece. In hindsight, I'm wondering if it would be worth working on a larger, more considered version as there is quite a lot of nice texture that is missing here. Pen & watercolour on watercolour paper (4x6").
These are just some random paintings I had done a while ago when I was experimenting a lot with watercolor and I wasn't too thrilled about them at first. I have since looked back on them and actually think they are quite nice.

The leaf painted by using Watercolors & Splash Technique. It creates nice combo of colors to a Leaf. Dew Drops on top make em realistic. Dew drops show purest form of nature.
One day I was watching Aliens, Predator ,and AVP things and It just make me get so inspired. I love those franchise to start with ,but gosh getting exposed to those franchises again just pouring art juice on me to get me so inspired to create as you this art piece. I wanted to have minime alien coming out of adult aline chest instead of cliche baby alien coming to make it different than what people expect. I just wish I had Artist grade color pencils instead of student grade I used on my color pencil art pieces, but soon or later I want to get artists quality color pencils. I am dying to try Polychronos color pencils. It is oil based color pencils. I been using wax based,but polychronos are expensive even more so than Prismacolors. If i want to save money and i gotten this brand before . It is Staedler triangle coloe pencils. They sell this stadeler color pencils of 48 colors for $13 at walmart.com. I might get that one I dunno. I do wana get Polychronos if not prismacolor but anyways Here is the art work using shitty color pencils. It seems like this scan looks better than my originals cuz i scan it and bring it to Photo impression software that came with the scanner to boost a bit of contrast cuz if u did not know student grade color pencils have less pigementations and more white fillers so u cannot make dark really nice dark or hightlight really nice strong highlight like artist quality color pencils can bring. Patternbank is a large company who sell seamless patterns, mine too. They have nice mock ups, like this dress. The motif is a flower bouquet in a pot with geometric patterns.
