Fox on a Hill at Sunset

I am so in love with Procreate. I love the smooth blending, the textures and how easy it is to work with. This fox is available on my INPRNT store.

Marie Curie.

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained." Marie Curie From a prompt for Transmundane Tuesdays by Carson Ellis.

Agony
1/3

Some LGBTQ+ members of the community can’t openly love who they want to love, so the bars represent that barrier. The fabric, with all its complex folds and creases represents sensuality, desire and love. Love, in all its forms is a complex thing of beauty.------------- The companion piece to my previous post ‘Ecstasy.’ Agony and Ecstasy were always meant to be a diptych. The issue for me is that there is a two-year gap between the completion of the two - there is a noticeable difference in the the way both were drawn. Faber Castell pastel pencils, Black and White Generals charcoal pencils on 9” x 12” Strathmore Toned Grey sketchbook paper.

Cotton candy Prince Cotten Flufe

Another outfit I'll plan on changing,it had more stripes, his outfit definitely looked better in my head.Fun fact:He has a British accent.he and Sweetnette have similar personalities.he is more quiet and more scared easily than Sweetnette,he often comes to trouble however by his side is Zippy Joy,he is another talking magical wand,he is a jokester and tends not to take things seriously despite this,he gives good advice to Flufe no matter what and saves him from peril other than Sweetnette and Harty.Flufe is shorter and thin, while Sweetnette is taller but she isn't necessarily thin either.both are 15.He has bigger grey circle eyes while Sweetnette has smaller oval shaped blue eyes.both are pink because pink is really a fun color (I detest the trope blue boy and pink girl)I believe there should be more pink boy characters in modern times.he has a overprotective guardian (his parents have passed away) Sourglum often tempts him to join her side much to her disappointment Zippy mocks her for being "a grouchy, rude, self absorbed wowser"which provoked her to attack him and Fluffe.

Giant Sammich vs Battle Ballerina

My sister-in-law called me on the phone while playing Giant Sandwich VS Princess Ballerina with my (then) 3-year-old niece, (who I assumed was the Princess Ballerina.) From what I could hear over the phone, my niece was using a "flying fist punch" to devastate the evil "Giant Sammich," (which was later described as a ham and swiss on white with flimsy leaves of lettuce.) After that call, I imagined what that fight looked like and put it down on paper.

Immanuel Kant

Immanuel Kant (1724–1804) Kant’s biography is unusually devoid of external events. As Heinrich Heine wrote: The history of Kant’s life is difficult to describe. For he neither had a life nor a history. In actual fact, as Manfred Kuehn argues in his 2001 biography, Kant’s life was not quite as abstract and passionless as Heine and others have supposed…. If he failed to live a more adventurous life, it was largely due to his health: the philosopher had a congenital skeletal defect that caused him to develop an abnormally small chest, which compressed his heart and lungs and contributed to a generally delicate constitution. In order to prolong his life with the condition—and in an effort to quell the mental anguish caused by his lifelong hypochondria—Kant adopted what he called “a certain uniformity in the way of living and in the matters about which I employ my mind.” This routine was as follows: Kant rose at 5:00 A.M., after being woken by his longtime servant, a retired soldier under explicit orders not to let the master oversleep. Then he drank one or two cups of weak tea and smoked his pipe. According to Kuehn, “Kant had formulated the maxim for himself that he would smoke only one pipe, but it is reported that the bowls of his pipes increased considerably in size as the years went on.” - From Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey #dailyrituals #inktober #ImmanuelKant @masoncurrey

Watercolor Quilt

My painted interpretation of a large quilt my grandma made and stitched by hand decades ago using upcycled shirts. It’s gotten a lot of use and is showing the wear and tear that a well loved quilt will show on a long enough timeline. Still, I can’t bring myself to put it away for long. While a piece of me thinks I should keep it safe and preserved, my grandma is a practical woman that likes knowing something she made is getting good use. A sentiment I can appreciate. And so, maybe I can extend it’s life through watercolor.

Her Majesty, the Candy Glass Dragon

Welcome to Nornwan, Untitled Heroes!!! What brings you here today? Escape from reality? Sweet! Me too! This is an illustration of her majesty the queen. She has no name that we simpler lifeforms can pronounce. She has lived long, and ever watched over the land of Sucrosia, (the land of candy). Not all dragons that come to the land of Nornwan are peaceful and life-loving creatures, nay, some are wicked beasts, they oft seek the utter destruction of the peoples! How very fortunate we are, indeed, to be blessed by the Candied Lady. we are #untitledheroes https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKXBKF6a2BWVDy_SgMvk8GQ?view_as=subscriber
